Tennessee Summits compels me to throw my hiking gear in the SUV and take off to TN for a hiking adventure. This guide offers concise and valuable information. I especially like the maps and details on elevation and distance.

Thank you NetGalley and Falcon Guides for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Extremely informative and I love how well this book covers information. I’ve done several of these hikes already and completely agree with and love the additional information for each hike. Really looking forward to utilizing this in future hikes.

This book is a wealth of knowledge for hikers heading to the volunteer state — even going so far as to share information about cell service on each trail. This book lets you know about elevation changes, whether there is a fee or permit necessary, level of pet-friendliness, distance, and contact information for each trail.

Something I also really enjoyed? You can find a chart of average temperatures and inches of precipitation by month in the beginning of the book helps travelers better prepare for what to expect when visiting Tennessee.

This book is a guide for you that is best utilized by reading beforehand. It’s also useful to bring with you but you’d be doing yourself a disservice if you didn’t familiarize yourself with it ahead of time.

The information inside is concise yet thorough without being unnecessarily wordy. The pictures inside are beautiful and the book is set-up in a way that makes sense.

Would definitely recommend to those who live in Tennessee and are looking to explore it more as well as those who are planning a visit to Tennessee and would like to hike some of the most beautiful parts of the state.
