In this, partially mind-wiped pilot Tamarja Chase must navigate the ties of loyalty and trust when she can barely trust her own mind and almost no access to her memories. I really liked the world-building in here (although there was an abundance of words shorted with an apostrophe; was it completely neccesary for 'pet, 'cast, and 'net?) and the characters were so endearing. Watching Tamarja figure out who to trust and how to get her memories back was delightful and having capitalism be the big bad evil is so real. I can't wait to read the next book in the series!
