My Loving Husband was a great read. It kept me guessing from beginning to end with all its twists and turns. I really enjoyed it.
Thank you to NetGalley and Bookouture for my ARC.

My Loving Husband by Sheryl Browne is a psychological thriller centered around the Chase family. The Chase family, consists of two successful parents, a daughter in university and 6 year-old twin boys.
The chapters are quick and are presented in various points of view. Mostly presented in Maddie and Cole's point of view, but there are some of Ellie and Alex as well.
Maddie gets notes saying her husband is trying to have her killed. Maddie thinks Cole is cheating on her with her friend. This psychological thriller keeps you guessing until the end.

I always love a good Sheryl Browne psychological thriller so was looking forward to reading this lastest one and it did not disappoint.
Maddie and Cole are married with a busy life balancing work and their children. Cole works at the local hospital as a well respected Neurosurgeon so is often called out to emergencies at short notice. Maddie tries to juggle home life with her career as a nurse but despite being pulled in all directions she is happy with her life and marriage. BUT then her phone buzzes and a message pops up ......... Your husband is planning to kill you.....
Maddie suddenly starts to recall all the late nights at the hospital and the not coming home from work at all, the short temper that Cole has had recently ....... could there be some truth in the message? Who sent the message? Will Maddie discover the truth?
This is a great psychological thriller that kept me guessing. A totally addictive page turner that you will not want to put down. If you love twisty thrillers then this is definitely one for you.

I found this book to be an enjoyable read. The story kept me engaged from start to finish and had some moments that really stood out. Overall, it offered an entertaining reading experience.

Love a Sheryl Browne book. And this did not disappoint. Cole - busy, well respected neurosurgeon- working too many hours and not showing up for his family! Wife a bit scared and edgy, starts getting messages about cole, and just what he is planning.
Dark at times, some good twists, a bit unrepeatable at times - but that is the whole point of non fiction!

A relentless, high-stakes thriller that keeps you guessing until the very end. The writing is crisp, the plot is tight, and every reveal lands with impact. It’s an exhilarating read that’s as smart as it is suspenseful.

I have mixed feelings about this book. There were some parts that were really tense and thrilling and gripped my attention, but there were elements that I found hard to believe. Overall, I felt it was lacking some realness.

YIKES—this one had me questioning everything.
My Loving Husband is a fast-paced, twisty thriller that pulled me in right away. Maddie seems to have the perfect life with her husband, Cole—until she gets a message saying he’s planning to kill her. From there, everything unravels. Secrets come to light, trust breaks down, and Maddie doesn’t know who to believe.
Sheryl Browne keeps the suspense going with sharp writing and plenty of jaw-dropping moments. I guessed a few twists, but I was still hooked from start to finish. A solid four-star read for anyone who loves domestic thrillers with a dark edge.

My Loving Husband is a smartly paced read full of secrets, lies, deception, obsession and of course revenge.
Sheryl Browne is a definite go to psychological thriller author with her books being very addictive.
This one is no exception, a very sharp medical domestic drama with a clever twist or two.
Maddie and her surgeon husband Cole led a busy and blissful life.
Cole always on the go with his job at the hospital and Maddie working occasionally looking after their three kids.
One day Maddie receives a disturbing text about Cole setting off a cluster of events that affect everyone.
Unexpected twists and shocking reveals occur until the ultimate climax.
A selection of questionable characters, a colourful plot and a tale that will have you hooked from the start.
An eventful and memorable story.
Get quickly immersed in the melodrama of this brainy read.

My Loving Husband tells the story of Maggie and Cole. Cole is a well-respected neurosurgeon (as is typical in these types of stories) who works too much and is neglecting his family (as is typical in these types of stories). Maggie begins to receive texts and calls asking if she really knows what her husband is up to and secrets are slowly revealed (as is typical in these types of stories).
The middle of the book was a little frustrating, and I felt that we were in the dark with the twists, but it finished strong. Full disclosure, there was a preview for another book at the end of the file so the book ended rather abruptly. In retrospect, the book flowed better than I expected when I knew the book wasn't quite as long as I thought, which moved my rating from a low four stars to a high four stars.
It's always tough to review thrillers without spoiling anything, so I will just say that the book had me hooked. It was entertaining and handled some delicate topics in a really skillful and respectful way. I'll definitely be exploring the other books by Sheryl Browne!

Thank you so much for allowing me to read this ARC. I enjoyed this book very much. Such a gripping psychological thriller following Maddy, Cole and their family who have the perfect life. That's what Maddy thought until she gets a disturbing phone call from an unknown number claiming her husband isn't who she thought he was and that her perfect family is not so perfect after all and begins to question her husband and his trust. Great read with lost of twists and turns. If you are looking for an amazing read you can't put down.

Jaw dropping twists that just keep on coming. This is my first book from this author and most of the twists were so surprising that my jaw was slack lol. Nice fun read that I read in one sitting. Definitely recommend

"My Loving Husband" is a psychological thriller that revolves around Maddie, a pediatric nurse, and her spouse Cole, a distinguished neurosurgeon. At first glance, their lives appear idyllic, characterized by a nurturing family and thriving careers. However, beneath this veneer exists an underlying tension, exacerbated by Cole's demanding profession and his increasing emotional detachment from Maddie. As she grapples with the challenges of managing their household and children independently, a series of foreboding anonymous messages begins to dismantle her sense of security.
Sheryl Browne deftly infuses suspense throughout the text, creating a tangible sense of unease that ensnares readers from the outset. The alternating viewpoints of Maddie and Cole offer insights into their emotional dilemmas, augmenting the mystery enveloping their marriage. Just when you think that you have discerned the plot, startling revelations arise, challenging your preconceptions and amplifying the tension. The story is replete with unexpected twists and turns that keeps you in suspense regarding whom to trust. Maddie's existence becomes increasingly tumultuous as she unearths concealed truths, prompting her to confront her fears and reevaluate her relationship with Cole. The intricate characterizations and their evolving motivations enrich the narrative, rendering it a captivating read.
The pacing of the novel is brisk, featuring concise, compelling chapters that urges you to continue turning the pages. The complexities of Maddie and Cole's relationship unveil a darker dimension of love, trust, and betrayal. "My Loving Husband" offers a profound examination of the fragility of trust within interpersonal relationships, laden with suspense and unforeseen twists that leave readers questioning their assumptions. This is a must-read for enthusiasts of psychological thrillers.

If you’re looking for a fluffier book that’s fast paced with some thrill to it. Look no further. Excellently written, left you guessing. Perfect weekend quick read

This was one of those stories that takes a long time to get interesting. I won’t sugarcoat it—the beginning was slow, and at times, outright boring. It dragged on so much that I almost DNF-ed it. But after nearly a month, I picked it back up, and thankfully, things started to pick up around the halfway point.
What truly redeemed the book for me was the ending. The big reveal was genuinely shocking and well-executed—I absolutely loved that part.
Now, onto the things I didn’t enjoy, apart from the sluggish start:
1. POV Shifts – The constant switching between first-person and third-person POvs were annoying. While not typically bad, it did made me feel weird.
2. Character Development – Most of the characters felt underdeveloped. They lacked depth and didn’t feel fully fleshed out.
3. Unnecessary Subplots – There were several side dramas that seemed to serve little purpose. While they may have contributed slightly to the main drama, they were left unresolved and felt more like filler than substance. The author could've tied everything up with the final big reveal or resolved them, separately. But it felt like they were solely there for being... just there.
Overall, I have mixed feelings about this book. It’s okay for a one-time read, especially if you're a fan of domestic thrillers. The ending alone might make it worth it for some readers.
Thank you to NetGalley and Sheryl Brown for providing me with a copy of this book!

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC for review purposes.
This novel kept me reading from start to end. Just when I thought I had it all figured out there was another twist.
I was annoyed by the fact that the whole novel could have been about 5 pages long if the characters only talked to each other. But, once I got past that I enjoyed the ride immensely.

Sheryl Browne never disappoints and this had all the twists and a great plot that kept the pages turning. Recommended
Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for an ARC in exchange for my honest review

This is a thriller that kept me guessing. Fast paced, entertaining all the way through. I especially loved the ending. I look forward to reading more from this author.

A decent domestic thriller with some strong moments, but not quite a standout.
My Loving Husband starts off with an intriguing premise: secrets, tension, and the promise of a shocking twist. Sheryl Browne knows how to set a scene and keep the reader guessing, and the first half of the book does a solid job building suspense.
The characters are written with emotional depth, though I found myself feeling more frustrated than connected with them at times. While the pacing kept me turning pages, a few plot developments felt a bit too convenient or predictable, and some twists lacked the punch I was hoping for. I also wish the ending had delivered a bit more impact—it wrapped things up, but not in a particularly satisfying way.
Overall, this was a quick and entertaining read, perfect for fans of domestic thrillers who don’t mind a slower burn and a few familiar tropes. Not my favorite from the genre, but definitely not a miss either.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC. This book was a slow burn for me with the ending feeling way too rushed. Wish that the ending had more substance! Overall a quick read and I did enjoy my time spent reading it.
