When I began this book, I thought it was going to be another “cheerleader” sort of book where the author tells you can do whatever, no matter what. It is a little of that, but most importantly, I thought she was extremely practical and will make you be that too if you take this book literally and try to work through things. I’m calling Jennifer Musser practical because as I read further, I realized she was going to make you be honest with yourself, make you realize what could and could not happen. That changes the whole timbre of this book, doesn’t it?
This is structured not just to let you read through different ideas or conditions, but to help you work through them too. While the author may give you some of her experiences, she also includes many charts and questions for you to work through yourself.
A good book for anyone questioning where they are at the moment in their working experience, or maybe even more so, where they’d like to be. Practical and helpful. A workbook in many ways, more than a story. Excellent read.

I'm really torn with this book!
There were some absolute gems of wisdom and advice in here - but there was also a lot of 'waffle'
So it really was a mixed bag!
I just wish there were more gems and less waffle - but overall I did enjoy my reading experience.
I'd be intrigued to read another book my Musser.
