Oh Boy! what a thrilling read this was.

It has drama, it has twists and it has humour.

Sally is a fabulolus character and what happens when she has to do the unthinkable to protect her loved ones is one of the most unique plorlines I have ever read.

No spoilers from me but this is a must read. Every character adds to the tale and I loved it

Prepare to be satisfyingly bamboozled with Sophie’s latest novel – and it’s a good one. Sally Lambert is panicked at the thought of a loved one (perhaps the most loved one) being escorted away, never to be seen alive again. If there’s a way to avoid having to confront this, she’s happy to be persuaded. As conflict rages, she and her family do something that no one would do, more than likely. Couple this with a story where you’re never quite sure what’s going on – but there’s an excitement to that – and police officers who are at either end of the spectrum in terms of interest in the investigation and you’ve got a drama that is twisty and confusing but always well written and persuasively plotted.
