I will say that this read is probably not for everyone but if you like immortals and steamy reads then you will like this one.

Xander is a protector of the innocent and walks around helping people out. He is in charge of recovering 4 Sacred Relics that are rumored to be the downfall of Lucifer. Will Xander be able to find these Sacred Relics and keep a new regime from taking control of his world? I f Xander succeeds, he will get the long awaited salvation that they have all been waiting for. No pressure at all, right?

When Xander is on his mission, he meets Kyanna. Kyanna is a hereditary Guardian that is in charge of protecting the Sacred Relics at all cost. I am sure you can see where this is going now really fast. When Xander steals the attention of Kyanna and causes her to have an attraction to him, it messes everything up with what she is supposed to be doing.

Kyanna is also the Keeper of Secrets that no one else is supposed to get aholt of. If Kyanna lets these get out, even the angels will kill her for what she has done. Will Xander steal more than just Kyanna's heart on his mission? You will have to read this one to find out.

This one was sort of different for me but it was not a bad read. I am sure that there will be more good ones in the Chronicles of the Fallen series!
