"1, 2, 3, Nosh with Me" by Micah Siva and Joshua Siva is a cute picture book that blends counting and traditional Jewish foods. The pictures in this book are colorful and adorable. The book features a dog named Buckwheat guiding readers through ten traditional Jewish foods served for holidays. We're not a Jewish family, but this book makes an excellent introduction to Jewish culture and traditions.
It also has a recipe at the end for challah bread and simple instructions for braiding the dough, which is a fun activity to engage families after reading.
My one downgrade would be that the title might lead some to think that this is going to be a book that rhymes, and it doesn't. It's not really a big deal, but for those looking for a melodic rhyming book for little ones, this might be slightly misleading.
Overall, it's very sweet and a nice book to give as a gift to foodie families. Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for the e-galley.

An adorable picture book where Micah Siva's text introduces us to the basic numbers and delicious-looking Jewish foods! Buckwheat is the cutest dog who takes us on this journey, and Joshua Siva's illustrations make me hungry throughout! A beautiful picture book with soft and colorful art!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.

The cutest little book! I read it to my niece and she loved it. Really informative and delicious looking Jewish cuisine! Can't wait to make the challah from the book with her!

With enjoyable soft, pastel illustrations and an introduction to classic Jewish delicacies, "1, 2, 3 Nosh With Me" is an adorable addition to your child's library! I appreciated the emphasis of loving "what makes me, me" and importance of family and tradition throughout the book. This is a great read throughout various Jewish holidays, but also to read throughout any time of year. Would highly recommend as a gift for a loved one or to pick up for your own child!

A completely adorable book, I admit I am biased as I have had 5 old English sheepdogs in my life and I think they’re the best dogs ever, so who wouldn’t love sheepadoodles too, this is a lovely tale with great illustrations and a wonderful way to learn, bravo
