WOW! Over 175 years the Devil visits members if a family. He visits them to save them due to a promise made by Yetunde who was aboard a slave ship after her home is burned down and her life seems in ruins.

Over eight generations the Devils is within their world and what happens during these visits makes this a phenomenal read.

It is an interesting read and is what It think quite unique.. I have never come across a booj like this before and I don't think anyone else could do such a good job with an amazing idea and plot.

Starting with Yetunde, a woman who wakes up on a slave ship bound for a plantation in America, the Devil visits her and several members of her family across two centuries to save them in their darkest hours and to attempt to save himself.
Ambitious and unusual, this book is ideal for readers who enjoy classical-style storytelling with strong biblical allusions.
