This is my first book by Melissa and I cannot wait to read more of her books. I loved the sound of the plot, and I love a book that has my name as the main character too. Hannah needs a fresh start, things have gone wrong in her life and she needs to get away for a bit so when a chance encounter leads to her spending her days in New York in a very expensive penthouse Hannah jumps at the chance to live there. But things don't stay great and Hannah is struggling to balance a new job and new neighbours. And a handsome client thrown in there too. There is lots going on but I feel a fast paced read for this book was the right one as Hannah always seems busy and on the go. I love how it is set in New York as I have never been there so I felt as though from Melissa describing the place that I got a sense of what it is like. A really great read to follow along with. I really did feel for Hannah at different points in this book but I saw the potential she had. A warm and funny read that readers will fall in love with.

What a delightful five-star read. This was one of those stories that has its ups and downs, Hannah has had it rough, and you don’t realise just how rough until a fair way through, there are some really sweet moments in this story, and some twists that will get you. Ward is just the biggest grump, but do you know what I am a grump when I’m in pain as well, so I got it. When you get Hannahs real story, you will be astounded at how strong she is, and this is great at so many things, there are so many parts that will just make you love this story.

Loved this book great characters with a nice twist at the end … given the job of PR to bad boy hockey player Ward, Hannah takes on the role of portraying the bad boy in a different light . Putting him forward for different roles to show off his softer side Hannah soon realises there is a lot more to Ward that the public see . Nice underlying story lines that all come together to make this a gem of a read

I really enjoyed this, Hannah and Ward were wonderful together. Hannah is a tenacious publicist who didn't put up with Ward's crap! Ward is a grouchy bear because his knee isn't healing as fast as it is supposed to.

However, it did drag a bit during the middle and the twist (which was very easy to work out early on) should've been revealed much earlier than the 80% mark, just to see how it sat with the characters longer as everything started to coalesce with Hannah's ex. I think it also needed the MeToo storyline woven in better to build tension. It felt like it was thrown in but without seeing just how it affected Hannah more than we think it did at the start.

Thanks to HQ and NetGalley for the ARC.

This is a really cute read with publicist Hannah and publicity shy Ward who needs to clean up his public image. I loved Hannah’s positivity and Ward’s conflict in this which really make this an enjoyable character read. With Hannah and Ward both burnt by their previous relationships and the increasing tension between them there’s some great will they won’t they moments and plenty of confusion and jealousy thrown in by other characters. The story is simple but the chemistry between the characters is fantastic and I love that readers get an extra perspective of the true extent of what’s going on between them beyond what’s obvious to them.

I loved this new upcoming romance from Melissa Hill. So fun being set in NYC and seeing a high powered exec from LA adjust to its rival city. It was fun seeing her experiences with her neighbors as well. Highly enjoyed
