Wow, Never Run From An Immortal by Victoria J Price, was a great book! This book has suspense, romance and some humor. Aiden and Rae were the perfect enemies to lover romance.
The book started with Rae wanting to get close to Aiden because of revenge and Aiden wanted to get close to Rae to find something that he lost long ago. But other things were at play here and they had to start working together to try to solve people going missing, which caused them to fall in love. However, like any stubborn strong willed heroine she won't admit it to herself that's she's in love. I can believe this book ends in such a cliffhanger! I can't wait for the next book to come out.
Overall this was a fantastic paranormal book that will leave you yearning for the next book in the series! Thank you, #netgalley, for allowing me to leave an honest review.

Wow that was a ride
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for my very first ARC 🥰
I was hooked from the very start
I love it when the FMC and MMC match each other energy. Rae and Aiden where perfect for each other
They both had banter, tension, sass and perfect amount of flirtation
The pace was chefs kiss…. And there was a good mix between plot and character
There was magic, warfare, darkness, fae, vampires and witches… everything for everyone
There were times where I was a bit confused about the world building and storyline… but then I was quickly brought back
The plot twist and cliffhangers has me BEGGING for the next book

I really enjoyed this book - the first in The Immortals series by Price. Fast paced and has great character development. Will absolutely be looking out for this one for pre-order!

Guys… this book… THIS BOOK… it simply had me in a choke hold the entire time I was reading it. I’m not entirely sure what Victoria put in this book but it’s FANTASTIC!!
Rae, the lovely FMC is a force to be reckoned with. She does not take a single ounce of BS and we are hear for it. She’s sassy and quick witted, her comments had me cackling on multiple occasions. But she is also fiercely loyal and incredibly smart- we love balance.
Aiden, the grumpy vampire lord, who is really a very burnt cinnamon roll and WE LOVE HIM. Seriously no notes- I loved how moody he was, and his POV was the perfect insight to his true feelings- even when he wouldn’t acknowledge them himself.
This book has everything I love, enemies to lovers, fake marriage, forced proximity, found family, grumpy MMC, incredible banter, seriously it has it all.
I promise you want to read this book and you can get in on an amazing kickstarter for Victoria’s first hardcover - I will be getting it bc it’s GORGEOUS!!
If you can’t tell by now I LOVED this book and I need everyone else to love it with. K thanks.

This was a fun urban fantasy romance with lots of magic, action and political intrigue mixed in. I loved the dual POV and the amount of action you get from page 1! The FMC was an independent, multi talented badass, which I love. 😍
Small critique...I did find the story a bit confusing to follow at times (I'd say till the halfway mark). There were so many side characters that I'd have to go back in the book and find to remind myself who and what they were (and who's side they were on! Lol) That definitely made it a bit harder to keep with the flow of the book. But this was such a small thing in the grand scheme.
Overall, I really enjoyed the story and the cliffhanger at the end 🙈. Looking forward to reading book 2!
Thank you to Net Galley and Victory Editing for the ARC! ❤️

I enjoyed this book, the world building was on point, and is perfect for readers just dipping their toes into fantasy or reading it for years. The plot twist, really twists, and the author has created a world using sensory and setting details that I was able to create a clear picture of in my head. Lastly, I liked how both of the main characters could be real grumpy. It's a change for me because I usually read sunshine x grumpy tropes but the grumpy x grumpy really worked for this book and the characters. I cannot wait for book two! Thank you to Netgalley, Victoria J. Price, and Victory Editing for this ARC.

Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the e-arc!
I was honestly super excited to have received an early copy of this book solely based on the description. Who doesn’t love vampires, witches, fae, and other things that go bump in the night? I enjoyed Rae and Aiden’s antics together and as the world building grew, I’m even more excited for the next book in the series. There’s mystery, forced alliances, fake relationships, action, and some spice within these pages. I cannot wait to see this book become a popular book box subscription or become a New York Times Bestseller.

This was my first ARC from NetGalley and I freaking hope the sequel is being published soon because that ending had me feeling all the emotions! ❤️🩹
I loved Rae as the morally grey, kickass FMC! So sassy, independent and strong yet incredibly vulnerable and entangled in secrets. Her world is on the brink of war due to a power imbalance between supernaturals and humans, and she’s not afraid to make a deal with Aiden (broody, morally grey, Vampire Lord) in order to try and manipulate the outcome.
This was a fast paced enemies to lovers, urban romantasy with forced proximity and great banter. Personally I would not have complained if this book was longer. In the first half I would have loved more depth when it came to developing the FMC/MMC’s emotional relationship, fewer drug references and more detail surrounding key events. BUT the second half had me hanging on to every word and unable to put this book down! I can’t wait for the next installment

This book had everything I could want!
✔️ Enemies to lovers
✔️ Marriage of convenience
✔️ Morally grey MCs
✔️ Touch her and 💀
✔️ A FMC who NOT 18-22 years old
✔️ Vampires, fae, witches, humans and all with varying kind of magic
✔️ A touch of spice 🔥
I love the alternate urban world that is built. The politics give a dark mafia romance vibe but also have multiple monarchies (which I hope will be explored more in future books in the series).
4.5⭐️ but rounded up to 5⭐️ - although there were plenty of revelations at the end, some expected and some not, they felt a little crammed in and could have done with a few more chapters on them. Basically, I just wanted MORE! 😍

This book was AMAZING!! I don’t want to give any spoilers, but if you like vampires, enemies to lovers, heartbreak you have to read this book.

This was an absolutely Great read!! Writing was fluid and the storyline flowed. Solid character and world-building. I literally didn’t put it down until I finished. Suspenseful with surprise twists, love interests and an unpredictable conclusion made this a win-win for me. Highly recommend.

This book is one I wasn’t able to put down once I started it! Enemies to lovers. Plot twists. Just when I thought I had something figured out something crazy would happen. I absolutely love Rae & Aidan. She’s spunky and full of surprises. Aidan is the typical tough guy vampire but I really enjoyed how he is with Rae. Steamy, action packed, witty, etc I truly hope Victoria is planning on book #2 because I need more of them and must know what happens next!

Really enjoyed this!
If you’re looking for fantasy, enemies to lovers, vampires, witches and fae alongside some sassy banter and some morally grey main characters… then this is the book for you!
We have a marriage of convenience troupe and the world building was pretty easy to follow which is always a bonus when jumping into a fantasy read.
I did predict one of the main plots throughout this story, however this did not deter my love for this book at all!
Will definitely be looking forward to continuing this series!

“But Rae knew a thing or two about fear, and those who knew how to wield it like a blade.”
16/50 Overall 2025 Goal
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5
Vampires and Fae and Witches, oh my!! Never Run From An Immortal is my first completed ARC read of the year. I absolutely LOVED this book. The action started right off the bat and we were thrown right into the chaos of the story. Rae and Aidan are just *chef’s kiss* as an enemies-to-begrudging-allies-to-lovers couple. It was just a wild ride from start to finish! Excited for the physical book to come out on June 17th. I’ll definitely be getting a copy then!! Thank you to @victoriajprice and @netgalley for the digital ARC copy!

Thank you to Victory Editing and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I really enjoyed this book! It originally caught my eye because I'm a sucker for fantasy, especially vampires and witches, and it did not disappoint.
This was my first book by this author, ant I can't wait to read more of her writing! I was completely pulled in and finished it in a day. I loved the world-building, as well as Rae and Aiden's character development and chaos.
I can't wait to read the next book in the series!

Thank you to Victory Editing and NetGalley for this ARC in exchange for an honest review. This was such a fun time! The world felt very reminiscent of a House of Earth and Blood with the urban setting and all its complex lore and diversity of species. Rae was a really standout FMC, and I loved being able to follow her journey through all the twists and turns. Sometimes it could get a bit difficult to follow and visualize what was happening, but the story still had me engaged and hooked to the very end. I look forward to the next one!!

First, a big thank you to NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!
Never Run From An Immortal had a premise that immediately caught my attention. The blend of urban fantasy with a vampire x witch dynamic, plus morally gray main characters, sounded right up my alley. The worldbuilding was intricate and well-developed, making the setting feel immersive and lived-in. I also appreciate a good slow burn, but in this case, the pacing dragged a bit too much for my taste.
My biggest struggle was connecting with Rae. While I love a strong-willed FMC, her constant sass felt over the top at times, making it difficult for me to fully invest in her journey. That being said, I can absolutely see why many readers loved this book. The tension between Rae and Aidan, along with the enemies-to-lovers dynamic, will definitely appeal to those who enjoy complex relationships and detailed fantasy settings.
While this one wasn’t quite for me, I’d still recommend it to readers who enjoy rich worldbuilding, political intrigue, and a slow-burn romance packed with tension. If those elements are your thing, Never Run From An Immortal might be the perfect read for you!

Firstly I want to say that I am completely and utterly blown away by the world that Victoria J. Price has created. The unique lore, technology, and class structure that she created is outstanding. It is unlike any other book I have read. The alignment of both main characters and the dual point of view between each chapter allows the reader to analyze & note different points from each character. Since both are hiding secrets from one another, the reader is the only person who knows exactly what is happening. While there were still many looming mysteries being held above our heads while reading, we slowly see the puzzle pieces aligning towards the end of the book. To say that I was shocked at the end is an understatement. The last scene was perfectly executed to set up the beginning of the second book of the series. If you love books with vampires, dual points of view, secrets, arranged marriages between enemies, spice, high lord mafia vibes, and a good heart tug, you will find yourself lost in the pages of this book. I will definitely be reading book number two in the future of this series!
Publication Date: June 17th, 2025

I really enjoyed this book. The magic was familiar enough to be comfortable but different enough to be interesting.
I really enjoyed Aidan. As an mmc, he had everything you could want. Money, power, magic, and he's a vampire. I love his moral code and how he treats Rae
Rae, I liked enough. I loved her relationship with Nim and how much she loved her.
There were so many secrets throughout this whole book. As each was revealed, I was sucked further in.

**No Spoilers**
I’m not sure if I am angry at this book or delighted. It’s been a while since I’ve been that sucked into a book that I couldn’t put it down, kicked my feet, annoyed my husband by blurting things out about it and felt genuinely intrigued by a story like this.
I’m delighted that it was such an easy read. The book length, the dual POV, the story telling, world building… it was enough to set the scene for a book this length but it whet my appetite to learn more about it, imagine it and want to immerse myself in it. The characters were so refreshing. A bad ass FMC who’s late 20s, takes zero shit but isn’t nasty (looking at you in the early acotar books, Nesta 👀) and actually has a likeable personality. The MMC was your typical brooding, scary asshole but with the tried and tested “touch her and I’ll rip your throat out” side. She was 100% more morally grey than he was.
Now for the reasons I’m mildly angry. I’m angry because this book hasn’t even been released which means I can’t get a physical copy yet. It means the next book is way off so I’ll have to actually wait to find out what happens on the next part of their journeys.
I cannot recommend this book enough. A decent amount of spice but it’s not rammed down your throat (giggity), a delicious cliffhanger that won’t make you rage but certainly makes you want more and it’s length is perfect for a quick read (which it will be because you’ll just want to binge it once you’ve started). With the right people, this would make an awesome audiobook as well.
Please read it. I’ll be recommending to everyone I know I can force into it.
Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC and to Victoria J Price for a bloody awesome time. Excuse me whilst I go and buy all her other books now.
