Mhairi Blyth documents 30 years of her life in this memoir. She discusses her feelings when her dad moved 3,000 mites away to work, her experiences at boarding school in Scotland, and her relationships with men who did not have her best interests in mind.
I appreciate the author's candid insights into her experience living with infertility. She fought hard to get a diagnosis, and her story can give readers hope.
The book drags out as she discusses her dad's illness, though.
I wish her the best as she perseveres and continues to live. She's a strong woman who discovers that she makes her own destiny.
