Swipe was a pretty fast paced story that J couldn’t stop reading . The story wasn’t exactly what J thought at first but actually better. Dating can be killer and is Sonia a serial dated or murderer. New authors for me but i really enjoyed this

I loved this one, and I knew I would. As someone who met my husband on a dating app I do love these kind of stories!!
It’s a very very easy read. Not too deep, I’d probably categorise as a popcorn thriller.

I felt that this was a good mystery thriller but not great. I felt bored through parts of the story and a lot of the plot felt too repetitive. The twist was good but not something I haven't seen before. What I did really like was the originality of making a mystery out of online dating apps.

I gave this one four stars, only knocking it down slightly because some of the legal elements felt like a bit of a stretch. I’m all for suspension of disbelief, but a few scenes with law enforcement could have used some tightening.

That said, I really enjoyed Sonya and Jake as characters and loved getting both of their POVs. The pacing was steady and absorbing—I never once felt the urge to skim. This one kept me turning the pages from start to finish, with tension that built beautifully throughout.

I tore through Swipe! The premise pulled me in right away—dating apps, secrets, a tech-driven mystery? Yes, please. It felt so current and real, but still had that twisty, bingeable thriller energy I love.

I was hooked from the beginning and kept flying through chapters, needing to know how it would all play out. The pacing was spot on, the twists hit at just the right moments, and it had that perfect mix of drama and suspense.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The authors writing style had me hooked throughout this book.

I didn't want it to end, a book I really couldn't put down.

It was good. I didn't dive with much expectations but then I was hooked and I loved it. I think it was about rushed at the end but may be it's only me.

I really enjoyed this fast paced thriller with a take on modern dating. This book introduces the two main characters - Sonya and Jake.

Sonya is fed up of the dating scene but decides to use a dating app called MetMee to catch men lying on their profiles and seek revenge. In the first few chapters you get thrown into the action with devastating consequences.

Meanwhile, Jake wants to make a comeback in the journalist world and he decides to go undercover to write a story about dating apps and find out if a married man was murdered.

When Sonya and Jake match on the app the pace of the book picks up and there are plenty twists and turns as the investigation picks up.

I would highly recommend this book for fans of physiological thrillers and thanks to Netgalley for the early copy!

This book had me hooked from the start to the finish. Loved the dual point of view. Sonya character development was great and well written. Thank you Netgally for the chance to read this book early.

Swipe was an interesting book because I've always liked reading about the negative sides of dating apps and what types of people are attracted to this modern way of finding a partner or a large amount of incidental distraction. Add to that the occasional murder and you get a real treat like this book. The book wasn't too deep in the sense that it unnecessarily went into long stories and characters' points of view on various topics, which makes it a relatively good choice for a wide range of readers who want to read a good mystery on the go. The dual POV was great because it's always more interesting to see two sides of a story (Sonya mostly had more of my attention because of her revenges and secrets). Unfortunately, it was a little easier for me to predict what would happen at the end and somehow I imagined it a little differently at the end and it seems to me that some of them didn't take the situations they went through seriously at all and gave up on their online search for a partner. - which means the vicious cycle just continues. I like that cheating wasn't an exclusive story typically assigned to just one gender but encompassed both which helps to dispel that stereotype of one side cheating more. Overall very interesting and a potential re-read on a particularly uninteresting day.

I’ve never been on a dating app so this book gave me a glimpse into this world. Secrets are everywhere as people try to protect their identity, either for safety or because they are cheating.

My favorite character was Jake. Jake is a nice guy who wants to get to the truth. In a story where you don’t know who is telling the truth Jake will find the answers.

RG Belsky and Bonnie Traymore in their new novel SWIPE has put together all the troubles those dating apps or online dating can bring. Especially to anyone looking for love in the wrong places. This story has looked in depth at the unsuspected danger, risk, threat and guilt that comes to married people who think it's casual or normal that they can cheat their spouses behind their back. It's very evident that they are lonely, desperate or unhappy in their lives or relationships.

Jake, a Journalist at New York Banner is hellbent to prove the mysterious death of Matt Furman. Matt a hiker and a married man who dated women online behind his wife and children's back ended up falling down accidently to the Hudson river. Was Matt's death a tragic accident or murder? The irony is that Matt was dating Sonya online. Sonya disliked Matt at their first encounter at the Palisade trail. Jake who covers stories desires to know why Matt committed infidelity posing as a single man on a dating app? At the same time Jake thinks Dr Russell Brigg's case of harassment by a woman online has something to do with Matt Furman's death.

This isn't a romance book, but a crime thriller where Jake is trying to solve a mystery which could be a murder and Sonya is hiding her guilt having used a dating app. The rapid narrative rendered by characters Sonya and Jake kept me curious for many hours with the unputdownable twisty scenes and plot that you never expect is coming.

I don't want to give out spoilers, you have to read till the end of the story to figure out what all the characters are up to. When the death count has increased and murder doesn’t stop here, detective Sergeant Pete Jeffries investigates on the side.

I felt the novel is full of unpleasant consequences and disasters of using dating apps, that RG Belsky and Bonnie have brilliantly captured in their prose and dialogues where those women and men have secret lives and how they deceive themselves online.

What I think about dating apps is that it is better to be safe than sorry because of the anonymity it carries. SWIPE is a must read novel for psychological thriller and crime fans. I enjoyed reading this novel as it kept me on the edge when the shocking truth unfolds, not a story for the faint hearted.

This book immediately puts you right in the middle of a murder and instantly you're hooked! The reader follows Sonya, who's disillusioned with the dating scene, specifically the dating profiles of men who lie about almost everything and after catching her latest match in another lie (he's married) things end badly but she's excited by the potential to make these men pay for their transgressions! Jake is a reporter forced into doing an investigative story undercover on the dating apps and what happens in that world of communicating online with someone you don't really know. So, guess who meet and neither knows in the beginning who or what they're getting themselves into!? This is the third Bonnie Traymore novel (she actually cowrote this with Belsky) and she's starting to grow on me!

this as a fun, quick read. i enjoyed reading both the female and male perspectives of online dating. There were some twists and turns and I enjoyed the whole read.
