I have loved every one of Shari Low’s books and this was no exception! Full of joy, emotion, humour, fabulous characters, warmth, friendship, romance and with some sadness and mystery in there as well. Shari, as always, portrays female friendship in the best possible way and I couldn’t love Moira Chiles more if she was in my own family! Moira is cut from the same cloth as Val (another of Shari’s characters from different books) and she’s witty, self-deprecating and is fiercely loyal to those closest to her. This rollercoaster of a story had me laughing and crying but I loved every minute!

3 stars - Very nice women's fiction story about some old friends who get together again after decades apart - a nice focus on female friendships. Many thanks to Net Galley & the publisher for this "read now" advance reader's copy

This was fun! A perfect beach read for a funny summer day. I’ve never read anything by Shari Low before but this definitely tastes like more!
This book was heartwarming & funny, and I immediately fell in love with the characters. They all feel fully fleshed out, have full personalities, the banter works, and they are all likable, even-though they are all very different. The dual timeline was done very well and I loved that we got to meet a bunch of colorful characters. The Hong-Kong setting is lovely because it's different than what we're used to (it's not the usual beach front summer read). The descriptions of the city are perfect and mentioning the sun, humidity etc. actually makes you feel as if you're there. If you’re looking for something that’s a little bit different compared to the usual book, this might just be for you! I also really enjoyed that this was a story about female friendships and how your family is family, but friends can be family just as much. Absolutely heartwarming read and had me laughing out loud.
I’m not sure if I would classify this as a romance book though. I also think I found a typo on page 21, in the beginning of the book. I believe the sentence was something like 'Moira' sight, but I don't think this could have been Moira, I think it's someone else! I'm silly and didn't write down the actually page number but I believe it was 21 - and if not it was very much in the beginning! Might be worth to check it out since it happens so early in the book.
Thanks again to NetGalley and the publisher, I very much enjoyed this and will definitely check out more of Shari Lows work!

One More Day of Us by Shari Low is an emotional, thought-provoking story about love, regrets, and the power of second chances. The characters are deeply relatable, each facing their own struggles, and Low’s writing beautifully captures the complexities of relationships and family dynamics.
I was especially moved by the heartfelt moments and the way the story unfolds, blending humor, heartache, and hope. It’s a powerful reminder to cherish the time we have with those we love.

This was a cosy, heartwarming and fun read. This is a story about friendship and one that spans over 30 years between 3 friends who met while being entertainers in Hong Kong. Sometimes I find it annoying when a book keeps going from the past to the present but it was really well done in this book. I loved the character development and growth we get to read about throughout the book. I also loved the different exotic settings which bring this story to live. I would recommend this book.
Thank you to Netgalley for an advanced copy of this book, all opinions expressed are my own.

In a change from the usual "One Day" books from the wonderful Shari Low this novel takes place over one week and thirty five years previous.
Before starting work at the local theatre group Moira Chile's ( met previously in One day and Forever) writes to old friends Carina and Lisa, inviting them for a nostalgic holiday in Hong Kong where they met as enthusiastic singers decades earlier.
Yet again Shari treats us to a great read. It's heart warming and heart breaking but also with moments of humour. Her characters are friendly and you really could imagine sitting having a drink with them and being friends. I love how this series also keeps us in contact with previous characters.

I love all of Shari Low’s books and I always look forward to her new releases! I was very fortunate to have received an early copy of “One More Day of Us” and immediately fell in love with the storyline, the characters, and their wonderful memories of a special time in their lives. The minute I read the letter that Moira had sent to Carina and Lisa, inviting them to meet her in Hong Kong for a reunion, I knew these three women would leave an indelible mark on my soul. Their youthful exuberance and adventurous spirits reminded me of my younger self when anything was possible and the “world was at my fingertips.”
Things didn’t turn out as planned for Moira and Carina as they greeted each other in the hotel lobby with hugs, kisses and a few tears. Instead of seeing their best friend Lisa, her beautiful daughter, Stevie had come in her place. Stevie had no idea her mom was a talented singer who became Stevie Nicks every night at a posh Hong Kong hotel, with Carina backing her up on keyboards as Christine McVie. Who was this woman who controlled her life and never allowed her to pursue her dreams?
Moira and Carina had many questions for Stevie and between the three of them, they realized that Lisa had brought them together so they could share memories of a special time in their lives that would be a part of them forever. We all need friendships such as Moira had with Carina and Lisa, and now with Stevie. She will always miss her mom but in her place she has new friends who will be there for her as they make more memories, while never forgetting the beautiful songbird who will be forever in their hearts.

Thank you to Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.
I rated this up. It was a fun and cozy read. This is normal the type of cliché story for me, but I didn't mind it as much. I love fleshed out friendships, especially between women and this one was well-done in my opinion. I would had rated a 3.75, but I did enjoy it, just don't find it to me something I would pick up again.
If you are the type of person that does not like stories to start of with letters... skip this.

I was super excited to see a nee Shark ow bbok and it certainly didn’t disappoint! Straight away im wrapped up in an emotional blanket with old favourites and new tea! Loved every part and I couldn’t put a r down literally! Shari has a way of drawing you in and making you feel complete!

Thank you NetGalley and Boldwood Books for the eARC.
This is a lovely book set mostly in Hong Kong, featuring 3 friends who meet again after 20 years. When they get together again one of them wasn't able to come, but her daughter was.
We go back and forth in time from the present to the time they were all three entertainers in a Hong Kong hotel and became incredibly close friends.
It's heartwarming, funny and at times a bit sad .... I liked it a lot!

I enjoyed this book different from my normal reads. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

I’m a big fan of Shari Low so was absolutely delighted to receive an advance copy of her latest book. Thanks so much to the publishers and NetGalley.
I adored this story from the very beginning. Some of the characters are old, familiar ones whilst others are new. What I can say is that they are all well written and you will care about them, (or not in the case of certain ones that shan’t be mentioned.)
There are some laugh out loud moments as well as some tear jerking ones. All in all a very well-balanced book. I have visited Hong Kong so some of the landmarks were familiar, especially the Star Ferry and the Big Buddha.
Sometimes I’m not overly keen on stories that skip back and forward from the past, but in this case it felt very well done and appropriate to the whole reading experience.
Looking forward to reading the next one.

This was a heartwarming read interspersed with some bittersweet moments and although this reads as a standalone it also provides a good catch up with some characters from previous books. Set over a week in current times and looking back 35 years at the time Moira, Carina and Lisa spent as entertainers in Hong Kong it’s told from several perspectives and reflects well on the life they had in their youth and how things have changed over the years. This is an engaging and uplifting character read and I really enjoyed seeing how the characters lives had altered in the intervening years and especially Lisa’s daughter Stevie discovering the part of her mum she never knew.
