This book was such a cozy and funny read and I absolutely loved it! The main characters felt very relatable (even though they are vampires!) and it felt like something that would actually happen to someone in real life rather than some of the vampire books which go down the more fictitious route. The romance was great and was overall a feel good book!

Sorry to say, had to DNF. The tone and pacing was just off. It commits, but for me a little too twee, a little too self-satisfied. Just did not enjoy it.

Cute and clique. This book really is Bridget Jones Diary with vampires . I haven't What read or watched We Do in The Shadows to know if it also very much like that as it claims. It reads like a Hallmark movie, and even though it would be better, as such, it wasn't a bad book either.

Since this is an early copy there are a few minor things that needs correcting but I believe that will be done before release so I it will not be reflected on this review.

I had a lot of fun reading this. Tiffenie (with i-e) ;) is just trying to live her life as a vampire, and a woman, without being forced to fall in line with the vampire rules that was set centuries ago. But it´s not easy and her ex Vlad is constantly trying to sway her over. After a minor incident, like accidentally killing her neighbour and turning her in to a vampire, they move to Vermont to start over and get some sort of normal life. Trying to find love and friends is not easy for a lone wolf vampire.

The main events in this book takes place during christmas season and it´s really a Hallmark movie with a twist. At first I wasn´t sure if the book aimed to be more of a parody but it has more substance than that. Some parts of Tiffenies background story is a bit unclear, questions goes unanswered. I would like to give it a 3,5, it´s not quite 4 stars for me but I enjoyed it and it´s a really good alternative if you like christmas romance but think they are usually too sappy.
