Lived this book and I feel very fortunate to have been able to read it early, so many turns I had whiplash by the end. Not the ending I was expecting at all. Highly recommend

This one pulled me in right from the first page. It was full of some really great twists and had a bunch of unexpected things happen to Amanda, who is trying to escape a terrible marriage. The neighbors in the small cul-de-sac that she's moved herself and her kids to hide away from the abusive husband who is returning from China on a business trip. But she makes the mistake of trusting and confiding in one of the women who is now her neighbor, which she regrets immediately. She's not even sure why but she ha the feeling that she's said too much. This book is a fast paced domestic thriller!

Five Stars from start to finish! Totally addictive and full of twist and turns. This book kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end. The secrets and lies that come out had me hooked!

This is an OK thriller. Maybe good for readers starting out in thriller genre. Amanda moves into West Street with her two children, but is this a good street to move to?

I loved the pace and fear that was created. The only thing that stopped 5 stars for me was the ending. It was a little predictable and speedy. But otherwise, a highly entertaining read.

Welcome to West Street by Nicole Trope is a highly recommended psychological thriller. It must be said that Nicole Troupe can be relied upon to always write a page-turner.

Amanda and her two children have moved into a house, sight unseen, in an attempt to escape her abusive husband. Her husband Mike is abroad on business and will return home to find divorce papers. Amanda's son Jordan, 11, is angry and yelling about the situation while her daughter Kiera, 9, is usually happy but struggling, missing her friends. Amanda is sure that this is the safest place for them to be.

Caroline, a neighbor, is watching the new family's every move. They have secrets on their street and like to keep things quiet. She also likes to have readily available for her use all the information about everyone. Now she needs to find out the secret behind the new family moving to their street.

This is another fast paced, twisty, domestic psychological thriller that will hold your complete attention throughout. It is full of characters with secrets and you won't know who to trust. It becomes clear that things may not be what they seem to be but the question about what is really going on isn't answered until the shocking ending.

The narrative unfolds through the point-of-view of Amanda and Caroline. You can feel Amanda's pain and fear over what is going to happen. Caroline is a completely different character who comes across as cool as a cucumber but with something to hide. The reliability of all the characters will be in question at some point during the novel.

You may have to suspend disbelief a time or two, but the drama and twists in Welcome to West Street will be worth it. Thanks to Bookouture for providing me with an advance reader's copy via NetGalley. My review is voluntary and expresses my honest opinion.

The neighbors are just a little too curious, always watching, always asking questions—and that quiet suburban vibe quickly turns claustrophobic. Nicole Trope nails that creeping unease where even small talk feels threatening.

The pacing is tight—no filler, just a steady build of tension and twists that genuinely caught me off guard. Amanda is a strong, believable protagonist, and the emotional layers in her story gave the suspense real weight.

The ending was satisfying, smart, and hit all the right notes. I flew through this in a day.

Fans of domestic thrillers with psychological edge, buried secrets, and overly friendly neighbors who might be hiding something will love this.

Amanda needs to get away and plans for a long while on how she will make this happen. However (isn’t there ALWAYS a however?!?), things don’t work out quite as smoothly as she would like after the move to West Street. Dealing with an angry preteen boy is difficult, and trying to figure out her next moves is even harder! But one night, she faces something no mother wants to see! This story was full of suspense and twists, and I really enjoyed it!

I really enjoyed this one. Amanda is escaping an abusive husband but is she safe now? I really liked the storyline of a tight knit neighborhood hiding some secrets. The twists were great. The book wasn’t a 5 star for me because I would have liked to go more in depth with the other ladies on the street. I feel like we didn’t get enough into their characters and it made it hard to sympathize with them.

The story of Amanda, Caroline, Gemma, and Mary is so good. All these are women on West Street. Amanda is fleeing an abusive husband with her two children. She rents a house on West Street. To say she doesn’t fit in is an understatement.

Mary is bothered by her son, Jordan, who yells into the night. He almost runs her over.

Caroline wants to be the keeper of secrets on West Street. She is as intrigued by Amanda as she seems put off.

Gemma doesn’t seem to be in much of a hurry to meet Amanda. She does have comments to make to the other ladies about Amanda’s children.

There were so many twists and turns in this book. Many of which I didn’t see coming. I loved this book so much! I read this book in several hours time. From Chapter 2 on I couldn’t put it down. I stayed up late to finish this book, sacrificing sleep, it’s that good!

So good!!!! So so good!! Suspense, mystery, and twists! Leaving an abusive husband is hard enough, especially with your two kids in tow. But when he threatens you and your son is fuming mad at you for removing them from a very privileged life - it’s much more difficult. Then your new neighbors, while quite nosy, seem very helpful and supportive. But are they really trustworthy? Holy cow go read this one!!

Amanda has moved into a new house on West Street. The house is a long way from the gorgeous and expensive home she's suddenly left but it will provide her and her children safety. Or will it? At first glance, West Street is a quiet cul-de-sac, with caring neighbors and the perfect place for Amanda to start over from the life she's fleeing, but nothing is what it looks like. Even Amanda.

Secrets. Ulterior motives. A missing person and a murder. Or multiple murders. Welcome to West Street is fast paced and you can't shake the feeling from the first chapter that something is very wrong. Some of the twists I saw coming and some were a complete surprise - both were enjoyable and kept my attention. It was easy to find characters to "hate" and others to root for. The only trick was wondering if you had it all wrong.

Are men inherently bad? According to one suburban woman that is exactly what the problem is. Amanda, trying to run away from the abuse, runs to a group of woman who have found the answer to abusive men. In this twisty thriller, Amanda fights for her family and ends up also fighting for her life.

Amanda leaves her abusive husband while he is away on a business trip with her two children and moves into a rental on a quiet suburban street. Her son is not happy about leaving his dad or home behind and is making things hard for her & her neighbors are a little too nosey. Her husband is back and is threatening her for leaving then her son disappears. Did her husband find them or did he run away?

This is my first read by Nicole Trope and won’t be my last. I really liked this book and her writing style. The twists were perfectly placed and I did not see the major one coming and I loved it. The end made me gasp and it was perfect! The character development for all was well done you had a connection with each one by their stories or dislike them when or if they were meant to be disliked.

This book is for those who like domestic thrillers and similar authors like Frieda McFadden.

I always know when I see a Nicole Trope book that I will be in for a will ride and wow this did not disappoint. This was a fast paced thriller with lots of twists and turns I loved it and could not put it down. The story was well written with very interesting characters which were well developed. I love a twisty fast paced thriller and this was definitely one of my favourite reads so far this year.

Amanda and her two children have moved to a new area to escape her husband. The neighbours all look out for each other so when Amanda and her kids move in the neighbours are welcoming. But nobody knows what goes on behind closed doors in this closeknit street. Has Amanda put her family in more danger moving here.

This was such a fantastic thriller which I can’t wait to recommend to everyone. Thank you to netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read this excellent thiller.

I loved this book! Amanda was a bit dense at times but I loved watching her struggles with parenting and navigating her new situation. Caroline was also enjoyable to watch as she kept an eye on the neighborhood. The suspense kept me hooked and the twist was mind blowing. A BIG thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the ARC!

Welcome to West Street is another very enjoyable book by Nicole Trope. Amanda takes her two children to West Street to escape her abusive husband. I liked the character Amanda who I had a lot of sympathy for. Unfortunately West Street isn't the nice place Amanda thought it would be. Very surprising ending. Look forward to the next book by this author.

This was a super fast-paced read that was different than I expected based on the synopsis. It centers on Amanda, who escapes her abusive husband with her 2 young kids by moving into a rundown neighborhood. Caroline is her neighbor, who feels that it's her business to be in the business of everyone on the street. There is a lot of action between these 2 characters as well as others around them and it turns out that neither woman is exactly what she seems.

The book moves at a fast pace from beginning to end and the relationships between the characters felt believable. I felt terrible for the way Amanda's son treated her. There were some good twists in the book, though the major twist caused me to suspend my disbelief, as it seemed like way too much of a coincidence. That being said, it was surprising and I love being surprised. The end of the book was well done and tied up the loose ends nicely.

Overall, while a little different than I expected, I thought this was a good read and I appreciated twists that I didn't see coming. Thanks to Netgalley for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
