Everything you need to have a successful bookclub meeting! I like how you can do a q and a. We used this and everyone was able to participate. Thanks!

This was a really helpful and well-organized guide. It would be a great resource for a book club, offering plenty of useful information and insights to spark discussion.

Not your typical Lisa Jewel novel. Jessica Jones a retired superhero becomes a private Investigator while also working in hells kitchen New York. Unexpected I didn't know this was a Marvel crime series. Amber Randall wanted to know what happened to her twins they went to their father's house for the summer and came back different not normal since they got back.Being broke she takes the job and heads to the village of Barton Wallop, Essex to investigate after investigating the twins and agreeing with the mother. The village has secrets and dark energy she puts her P.I. skills to work. It was a creative story. I would recommend even though I'm not a marvel fan.

This is a great Book Club kit with lots of questions that you can used to talk with your friends or Book Club and dive into the novel and understand it better!

This kit starts with spoiler and content warnings before delving into the author interview and discussion questions. There’s also an included section for book club members to write down their own questions which I thought was cool. I really appreciate that these book club kits are including recipes for drinks and food to include at a meeting as well as the really fun activities that are presented to relate to the themes of the book. This kit also includes a word search, which had me really excited. As always, there are a bunch of next reads included at the end of the kit for the readers.

good book club kit
if you like book clubs and lisa jewell this is good !!!!
5 stars
fabulous book club makesure you know this is for a book club and not the book

Book lovers, this one’s for you!
This book club kit is the perfect way to keep the magic of a great story alive—long after you’ve turned the last page. It’s designed for everyone to enjoy, whether you're a die-hard fiction fan or just love gathering with fellow readers. What makes it so special? Creative activities, thoughtful extras, and the kind of shared experiences that remind you why stories matter.
If the book was good—and trust me, it will stick with you—this kit helps keep that spark burning. Dive deeper with a short but impactful author interview and get the inside scoop on a character’s journey you didn’t know you needed. Plus, there’s a themed shopping list (hello, bookish snacks!) and some adorable goodies inspired by the story itself. Who doesn’t love a tangible piece of the book world to hold onto?
Whether you're planning your next club meeting or just want to enhance your solo read, this kit brings the story to life in new and unforgettable ways.
Title Feedback:
“Book Club Kit: Breaking the Dark by Lisa Jewell” is clear and informative, but it might not immediately grab attention or reflect the unique fusion of thriller fiction and Marvel-style storytelling. Since this is a Disney-Marvel project, consider enhancing the title with a bit more flair or intrigue to reflect the cinematic energy and suspense of the story.
Suggested Alternatives:
“Beyond the Last Page: A Book Club Experience for Breaking the Dark”
“Breaking the Dark: Marvel x Lisa Jewell Book Club Kit”
“Unmasking Breaking the Dark: A Book Club Journey Through Shadows and Secrets”
“Breaking the Dark Book Club Kit – Dive Deeper into the Marvel Mystery”
Adding a subtitle or repositioning the Marvel/Disney connection more prominently can help hook both book lovers and comic fans who may not usually cross over into each other’s worlds.

A really useful set of resources for bookclubs. I like that it’s a fun pack with games and printables, along with the typical interview with the author and a set of questions for discussion after reading the book. I wish more publishers would provide this type of pack for bookclubs. My bookclub members write their own questions, but it’s always a really nice thing to have a list of publisher questions to mix and match with our own.

This was very helpful and added much to group discussions with Marvel and Lisa fans alike.
Mostly in helping other who would otherwise not give the initial Breaking the Dark an opportunity

Such a fun book club kit! I also won this book from Goodreads, so I think the stars really aligned for this one. Can’t wait to set a date with my bookish friends and dive in. Love this author, super excited for what’s ahead!

I didn't get a chance to read this book but i have on my TBR and i cant wait to tap into this book club kit.

I just got my hands on the *Into the Dark* book club kit by Lisa Jewell and it's awesome!
The suggested similar books idea is perfect for when I finish the book and need something new to read.
Or when I am fancying something but feel overwhelmed with choice!
The bookmarks are so cute! Love this idea, thank you Lisa and team xx

This was a great foundation for a book club! I hadn't ever read something like this before and will be looking for them in the future.
I love how it is sort of a map for the club meeting, and could even be given to the members. It included an author interview with Lisa Jewell and I thought the interview questions were excellent. It also included questions for book club - a couple were really thought provoking, ideas for snacks and drinks that are related to the story, and best of all in my opinion: suggestions on what to read next!
I’d definitely be interested in a book club kit like this for other books and will be on the lookout for them in the future.
