An excellent read for any reader really! Especially those interested in world war-era historical fiction. The characters are so well-written, the love story is poignant and the plot is intriguing and keeps you hooked until the end! Would definitely recommend!

A touching WWII story. John and Ellen are married before he goes to war. Ellen is left in America, worrying about John. I loved every word. Wonderfully researched.

An excellent read for any and all readers! Author comes at you with both barrels and knocks you out of your shoes! Great job fleshing out all the characters. I give this book FIVE stars! Definitely recommend!
