I probably do more believe more now than I did say 20 years ago. 10 years ago I was probably a bit unsure. I kind of wanted to read this because I wondered where it would take me in how that opinion might change.

And I didn't really think there would be that much detail so it surprised me if you just want to know stuff about your own star sign this isn't the book for you there's plenty of other books for that this is more about I suppose being a non-believer and being new to it and your level of understanding.

I loved parts of this book, I went away and grabbed a pen and paper to really get into the detail and keep note of the things that I was learning that were relevant for me. I felt at times it explained things in such a way that it made sense where it hasn’t before. Equally, there were some points where it went into an awful lot of detail without really helping to understand where it might apply to you and what it means. After a certain point it becomes a very difficult book to read on a kindle, maybe that would have changed my experience a little. For me it’s a book where you can take what you need. It’s written really lovely in a chatty style that feels relatable.

I love all things astrology, but was super intrigued by the title of this book. I wanted to see how it could convince the non-believer... I'm not sure that it would.

However, I really enjoyed this book. I liked the level of detail, and how it related back to science - some really unique info here.
The later pages are filled with specifics for each star sign (sun sign) so if you are only interested in finding out about your own sign, then there will be a lot of wasted pages.

Not the best book for someone who knows a lot about astrology - and I'm not sure how it would convince a sceptic. However it is definitely insightful.

Thorough book on all the basics of astrology. I'd recommend for someone who's new to astrology, and hasn't looked too much into it themselves yet.
