I thought this was very good and I will have to add this to the shop shelves. Thank you for the chance for us to review.

I want to thank Sheri Krom and NetGalley for this eARC, and that’s my honest opinion.
An erotic novella that fails in building up the right tension.
In other words, the spice doesn’t spice.
You can use all the toys you want; you can have the kinkiest play room but that’s not enough if you don’t work on characters and the growing attraction.
You need a spark, something more than a mechanical act.
Instalust has never been so insta and everything is just a mess.
Sorry, it didn’t click for me.

This book jumps right into the action and doesn’t let up. I went into the story not realizing it was part of a series, but that ended up being ok for me! Carnal picks up with Cierra and Steven’s story, and from the first few pages, it's already super intense.
Cierra is definitely a standout character. She’s bold and badass, and although I couldnt relate I still love her as a character a lot. The tension and chemistry between her and Steven was impossible not to get into.
The plot moves quickly—sometimes almost too quickly—but it kept me turning pages, and I appreciated how it kept me guessing. It’s a wild ride, but one that’s easy to get wrapped up in.
Big thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC!

Carnal by Sheri Krom is a fast-paced novella that doesn’t waste a second getting to the action. Cierra, a fierce assassin with deadly skills and a no-nonsense attitude, completely steals the show. The chemistry between her and Steven is electric. If you're looking for a quick, steamy read with danger, tension, and a badass FMC, this one delivers. Would've loved a bit more depth or backstory, but for what it is, Carnal absolutely hits the mark.

Was archived after getting it approved, didn't get a chance to read and review the book but it sounded very interesting and I'm still keen on reading it. Will look at reading it on Kindle and review.

ARC for Net Galley
Carnal is the second book in the series. There is no slow build up with Sheri Krom's books. The moment you start reading, you are IN IT!
Cierra and Steven's story is a crazy, romantic suspense filled journey. Get ready to sweat and find yourself holding your breath. From the moment they meet, the chemistry is on.
Cierra is one of the most bad a$$ FMC's that I have read to date. Not to take away from Emma in Deviant who is equally amazing.
This story will keep you on your toes. I can't wait to see what happens in book 3.

Carnal was fast paced, seductive, and a bit thrilling. The chemistry between Cierra and Steven is 🔥.
If you’re into dark romance with action, secrets, spice, and a girl who can hold her own, then this is for you!

Although steamy at times, I was hoping for more naughtiness. But it does deliver pretty nicely.
Badass action throughout.
High stakes, intense at times.
Possibly where I had issues with it. Super fast and it didn't let up.
Lacked direction.

Carnal is a steamy romantic suspense novel that pulls you in from the first page. It follows Cierra, a deadly operative torn between her mission and a forbidden romance, and Steven, a man just trying to protect his sister—until everything he knows is turned upside down. The tension between duty and desire is done really well, and I loved the unexpected twists. I enjoyed reading it because the chemistry felt real, and the stakes kept rising in a way that made it hard to put down.

Huh? This book was zipping in all different directions so it was so hard to keep up. I got an advance copy to read and review so thank you NetGalley but I would have held off on putting it out until atleast one more round as it was really hard to read.
Thanks anyway NetGalley atleast it was quick.

This was a steamy, suspense novel that definitely moved at a very fast pace. I did have a difficult time following the story lines, so that impacted the experience overall.

I’m sorry but this was awful. Yes it’s fast paced but the million story lines and no clear direction is so prominent. You can tell the author didn’t take time to research and understand some of the themes and situations that arise from the story.

Listen, I thought this was gonna be just another tough-girl-hits-on-good-guy story… but nope, Carnal came in HOT. 🔥 Cierra is all badass vibes and inner chaos, and Steven? Major protective bro energy with a splash of confused heartthrob. I was yelling at the pages, swooning, and side-eyeing everyone like, “Who do I trust?!” 😂 If you love your romance with edge, danger, and a whole lotta “OH SNAP” moments—read this now. 💋🔫💣💔
