Great romance proving love finds you when you least expect it Wilder wasn't looking and Sloane was completely avoiding any chance of a relationship a perfect cocktail to find your other half. Great read thoroughly enjoyed it can't wait for the next one brilliant

Great absorbing read following the story of Sloane, a journalist who works for Bride magazine, gritting her teeth after being left at the altar by her awful ex!!
Follow her story as she attends a series of weddings… fun and enjoyable (although a little too descriptive in places - quite 🌶️ 🌶️ for me!)

First of all thank you for approving my request!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The authors writing style had me hooked throughout this book.
I didn't want it to end, a book I really couldn't put down.

Jilted was a great weekend escapist romantic read; it was cute and easy with the kind of feels that put a smile on your face. If you enjoy good banter, great dialogue and a light read, this one is for you.
Sloan worked for a bridal magazine, featuring weddings and it had become her circle of personal hell, having been jilted six months prior. She met Wilder one of the groomsmen and clicked in all the flirtatious ways but she was off men, period. What ensued was a game of romantic cat and mouse while a strong friendship and connection developed over a series of weddings and in-between meets.
I liked the backstories behind these two which brought a lot of depth to the story for me. Sloan's dad and family added such a realness to the characterisation as did her long-term condition. Wilder meanwhile, had a whole secret backstory that took most of the book to reveal.
I was sitting in the 3.5 star range until we got to the last quarter of the book, where things notched up higher in the interest stakes for me and made for a really strong ending to the book.
Super easy, perfect beach/holiday/vacation reading while you drink and bask.
Thank you Piatkus for the eARC.

This was definitely really cute!
I enjoyed most of this book but it wasn’t something that was out of this world change your life forever type. It was average but it was fast paced which was a positive.
The mmc was good but his dialogues felt a little robotic idk. Plus the British accent thing wasn’t doing him any favours with me 😭🤚
The fmc was cute but she had this weird stubborn streak just for the sake of adding conflict. It got annoying at one point but other than that she was sweet.

The chemistry between them is there from the moment they met. The banter is witty, the tension is palpable. I liked how they respect each other's and their own thoughts. I appreciate how Solane took time to make sure of what he wants rather than jumping into something. Wilder respects her decision and sticks with her despite having a history of being a no-relationship guy.
Wilder is dealing with his own fear and his past, making his character growth very important. Solane is strong yet vulnerable. Despite her broken heart and her guarded nature, there's a woman who still believes in love.
There are some parts I didn't like, but overall it's an enjoyable contemporary romance with a slow burn.
Thank you for the e-ARC

Such a great book and really loved the chemistry between Sloane and Wilder. Great banter and a perfect slow burn. It got me out of a reading slump and i've thought of nothing else since!

A great read, I liked both characters and wanted everything to work out for them. I liked how it was told from both points of view, and the setting between the US and the UK.

This is a really easy to read fun book that I really enjoyed! Fantastic story, wonderful characters!

I haven’t read a Vi Keeland book in a few years but this was a super fun read, I’m going to have to read more from her again soon!
This was a perfect fun little palette cleanser, full of witty banter and lovers of chick flicks like 27 Dresses and The Wedding Planner. It was light hearted and I really enjoyed myself. Was it perfect? No, but it was just the right book for a good time!

Sloane and Wilder were gorgeous! I loved the chemistry and banter in this slow-burn romance. I thoroughly enjoyed the premise of the story. I felt it had this author's signature all over it. It was an easy, fun read with two wonderful characters!

This is a super cute, lighthearted romance with 27 dresses vibes. I binged this book as it was just so easy and fun to read. A wedding meet-cute, with forced proximity due to being thrown together at future weddings through the year and a delicious slow burn. Perfect for a summer read.
Despite the cocky attitude, the MMC - Wilder, is a total sweetheart, even if some of his actions could be classed as light stalking, but who hasn't done that when they are obsessed with someone?! I guess him being ridiculous handsome and rich allow him to get away with a lot more.
Both him and Sloane - FMC, are instantly likeable. I really rooted for them. I loved their instant banter together, flirty bickering from the start, she wasn't going to take any of his smooth talk. Both characters are well fleshed out, you really know everything about these characters. Gradually you learn more about Wilder through flashbacks which develop and round out his character.
This is slow burn, both having a past that has left scars. It is wonderful to see how they grow to trust each other as their connection builds.
I loved the side characters with their own stories to tell. I would have loved for Elijah to featured more in the story as he is an interesting character. Sloane's dad was my fav side character - a no nonsense ex cop who is fiercely protective of his daughter. As well as her firefighter brother Will.
It includes diabetes rep with the FMC, Parkinson's rep with her father, and dementia rep with Wilder's old coach.
The wedding YouTube episodes is something I would definitely watch and was a cute addition to Sloane's work.
Thank you to Piatkus, Little Brown Books for this NetGalley ARC.

I loved this. Such a fun book with likeable characters and good chemistry. However there is spice in this book. Just so you know.

JILTED is a delicious slow-burn and I loved every single moment of it.
It had romance, humour, and just everything I have come to expect from a Vi Keeland book. Sloane and Wilder were absolute perfection and I could have continued to read their story for hours.

Its been a while since I've read a Vi Keeland book, and now upon finishing this one, I'm again thirsty for more.
Loved both of our main characters, chemistry was flaying off the pages like sparks. I really enjoyed every trope here, while I am usually not a fan of some of them, I did think Keeland plotted even the trickiest tropes into a masterful story that keep me glued to think book i devoured in a single sitting. Loved it!

This book started off so strong! Loved the meet cute and their first kiss. The humour was on point! The plot point about the feature stories for the rest of the weddings was a great set up with 27 Dresses type vibes. Wilder being a rugby player was something I liked too as rugby is severely underrepresented in sports romance books! However, the third act 'conflict' felt forced (given their age and maturity) and it wasn't my favourite trope. I also never really got attached or invested in the main characters, the FMC didn't always act her age.
This book was short and sweet, a quick read and fun addition to any reading pile.

If you're looking for a sweet, sexy and mildly spicy romantic comedy to take your mind off the world around you, this is it. As usual, Vi Keeland delivers a brilliantly funny and romantic story that you just don't want to leave.

💒jilted💒
Now let’s start with saying this book is a great romcom.
Lightheaded, has loads of tension, banter between are two main characters.
We have a great load of side characters how really add to the plot.
The book is really well written with an original story line that i personally haven’t read before.
I loved the representation of diabetes and Parkinson’s in our characters as well I feel that is a really unique touch and needs to happen more often in these type of books.
I loved the police bar touch really felt Brooklyn nine nine-y (which is a fav of mine) so that’s a bonus!
I do feel however that as a whole the book was quite mediocre, it is a nice simple read however I really disliked both of our main characters. Whether it was their personalities or just how they were written they just didn’t really click for me 😫
Thank you netgalley for giving me this ARC in exchange for an honest review ❤️

I do enjoy a slow burn book.
The two characters of Wilder, ex rugby player, and Sloane the magazine reporter meet by chance whilst she is covering a wedding he is attending. Their chemistry jumps of the page and they begin a relationship that doesn't come easy to either one of them.
Its the perfect Summer read

Sloan used to love her job working for a bridal magazine until 6 months ago when her fiance left her at the altar. When attending a new assignment she's roped into joining the wedding party to fill in for a missing bridesmaid when she meets Wilder. He's cocky, flirty and picture perfect and it leads to a night of bickering and an incident in a coat closet. But Sloans sworn off men not wanting to get heartbroken again, but Wilders not willing to give her up without a fight.
This was such a quick, cute, fun romance and I had a great time reading it. Sloan and Wilder was really great MCs. They were such a good couple their chemistry was great, the friendship they made was perfect and they way the could bond over so many similar things. This was a nice slow burn due to them both dealing with past trauma and heartbreak. Highly enjoyable and highly recommend.
