This was sooooo cute! And so much fun! I absolutely ADORE Pequeño!
What a fabulous dynamic they all had, I couldn't get enough. I very much enjoyed Luka and Sakura's relationship and would be more than happy to indulge in more of their adventures. It just made me feel so warm and happy and was exactly what I needed. I giggled at so many parts and just had an absolutely fabulous time!

The art style was gorgeous! But I must admit that while I loved it all I just really absolutely adored Pequeño! Like what a lil cutie! Will recommend this for sure!

If you're looking for something light-hearted and fun with a cast of beyond loveable characters then this is for you!

I loved this! A vampire creating hijinks at a family run bathhouse? Right up my street. Very funny too!

This story has so far kept me quite entertained! The humor throughout had me chuckling out loud several times! I can not wait to see where the story progresses and I will be recommending this!

It was a light read, with beautiful artwork and fun characters, each chapter can be read separately. It feels like watching a show. Definetly recommend it if you enjoy stories that have less action and are more centered around the characters.

A Vampire in the Bathhouse is a really cute and silly slice of life manga about a vampire that travels to the human world to relax and enjoy a bathhouse.
This was so heartwarming and fun! The artwork is gorgeous and I loved the characters and the banter between Luka and Sakura.
The whole story is contained in one volume and it was the perfect manga for a cozy feel-good read! I would love to read more from this mangaka.

This was, as expected, a very relaxing, low-stakes, entertaining story. The characters were all cute and a little ridiculous, and overall it was very nice

A vampire prince who’s bored of his regal, blood-soaked routine.
A human bathhouse owner just trying to keep things running smoothly.
And a whole lot of steam-fuelled chaos.

I didn’t really know what to expect when I requested this title—I was drawn in by the whimsical title and the gorgeous cover art. What I found was a lighthearted, single-volume manga that wraps up its story neatly while delivering cosy, slice-of-life vibes with a supernatural twist.

While the premise flirts with romance, the heart of the story is really about connection, family, and finding a place to belong. It leans into “found family” themes in a way that’s warm and comforting, even if the narrative can feel slightly meandering at times.

Yes, it’s a little formulaic—but in a good way. If you’re in the mood for something familiar, tropey in the best sense, and low-stakes enough to let you unwind and switch off for a while, this manga absolutely delivers.

Just a heads-up: if you’re going in expecting a clear romantic arc, you might feel like you’ve been led on a little. The build-up hints at something more, but the payoff is gentler and more ambiguous than a full-blown romance.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the digital ARC in exchange for an honest review.

this was cute but unfortunately nothing new and was quite predictable and formulaic... i'm glad the whole story was contained in this one volume rather than wondering how it ends, but that also compounds the disappointment of not a whole lot happening.

that said, it's empty headed (positive) dumb vampire isekai fun. the fantasy and magic and plot is just interesting enough to keep you reading, but don't expect anything too exciting.

The demon realm is boring. Where better to unwind than at a bath house in the human realm?

Resident hot vampire Luka teleports to a human bath house he sees on TV. While there, he forms a blood pact with a human that runs the bathhouse so that he can better utilize his magic. Before long, he is living his life alongside his human family!

This manga is mainly comedy with slice of life elements. The plot is kept fairly light and is perfect for a casual read. I admit I was disappointed at the lack of romance, as that is what I was led to believe it was by the description. Still, the sweet interactions between all the characters makes it worth the read

"A Vampire in the Bathhouse" was beautifully drawn. Sakura, Luka, and Yomi were stunning to look at, and I enjoyed the humor when they interacted with each other and the townspeople. My cuteness aggression for Umenosuke, the little brother, was difficult for me to manage. Ha ha ha ha. This was a light, cute slice of life.

I do think the manga was a bit light on plot. The vampire and magic angle seemed to disappear. Taken "as is," the story showed series potential (I'd love to see them visit the demon world). However, I found the pacing too fast at times. Maybe I'd chock that up to my greed for more time with the core characters. Expanding on the found family trope and adding more conflict would also help.

I'm curious to see more from this author, though.

This is a heartwarming tale of a vampire who desires a chance for a moment of relaxation and decides to try achieve this in a bathhouse that resides in the human realm called Full Moon Baths. Departing from his castle, Luka Finsternis meets Sakura and his little brother, and is inspired to stick around to explore more delights of the human realm.

This manga is perfect for a light-hearted summer-feel manga. I thoroughly enjoyed this manga because it was fun, had plenty of heartwarming moments, and had many chuckles. For example, "grilled squid" was rebranded for me as "grilled kraken". The table of contents was very creative in its design. My favorite aspect of this manga was the relationships between each of the characters. The interactions were so funny, especially the first interactions with everyone. The art was delicate and lovely. As a side note, I appreciated how the yukatas presented represented the characters - it really suited them.

One item that I would suggest is spacing out the explanations through dialog. A bit too much information was presented in the first few frames to establish the characters and describe the world, which caused an unnatural feel. I was also unsure if Luka discovered the bathhouse through a live cam? An advertisement? It was a bit unclear. However, neither of these things prevented me from continuing to enjoy this manga.

Definitely pick up this manga if you need some smiles. It was very sweet...and not just from the cotton candy bed!

Many thanks to the author/mangaka and NetGalley for allowing me access to this manga for review consideration.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with a free copy in exchange for an honest review! Vampire in the Bathhouse has a strikingly beautiful cover, the colors are incredibly eye-catching! While I went in expecting a bit more romance, the story leans more toward supernatural comedy with slice-of-life vibes. Still a fun read, just not quite the romantic BL arc I anticipated.

A super fun and quick read! I loved how low stakes and cozy the entire story feels, even with the minor conflicts sprinkled in. I can't wait to read the next volume!

The cover of this was what drew me in. I went in for a fun time but got so much more out of it. The story of Luka finding the cure for his exhaustion in the Mangetsu no Yu bathhouse reads as a cozy fantasy with so much heart and humor. I especially adored Ume and Pequeno's blossoming friendship. This one-shot hit everything I usually want from a one-shot, heart, humor, and a ridiculous smile on my face. I'm getting myself a physical copy ❤️

A fun, low stakes slice of life manga that follows a fancy pants vampire prince named Luka as he discovers the wonder of a bathhouse in the human world while chronically hungover.

He decides to drop in to check it out and just... never leaves.

Some chaos ensues as he learns his way around the human realm and the family he's attached himself to.

This cosy standalone is a paranormal tale of found family with a hint of suggested romance. The art style is immaculately drawn, with each character having their own unique style and flair.

Thank you to NetGalley, Niko Izuki, and Kodansha Comics for my free review copy.

This was a really interesting book. The artwork is stunning, and it threw me back to years ago when manga had weird concepts and was just out of the ordinary—and I loved it! The main characters were charming, and I loved how they got to know each other. And the pact—omg! This was such a rollercoaster in such a good way, and I hope there is a volume 2.

Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC!

This manga is super cozy and the perfect slice of life. I really enjoyed the character design, especially the demons, they looked great. I also loved the sweetness of the MC’s little brother and his tiny familiar. The short stories were fun and lighthearted.

There are some BL vibes here and there, though I’m not sure if that’s actually intentional.

The art is beautiful and modern, with lots of detail.

The only downside for me was that the plot felt a bit lacking, I was hoping for something a bit more engaging. But overall, it was a really cozy read.

4/5 stars.
