Sexy Russian and Italian mobsters, along with having muscles and brains these guys have hearts. Ok, so the tattoos and alpha attitudes help a little bit. I received an ARC through Netgalley ages ago and have just now gotten to start the saga. It's powerful, sexy, intense and dangerous. I highly recommend reading the series in order because it just makes sense to understand the family. Eva's friend, Nika, has had an odd marriage from the beginning and no one could pinpoint why. While Nika's life is quickly changing she becomes enthralled by Vincente, V or Vinnie, and his standoffish-I-can-kill-anyone stare. This isn't simply a sex only relationship, this mobster wants to involve feelings. Vincente and Nika make an adorable couple and become stronger for all the crap they went through.
