I absolutely fell in love with this world and characters from the very first page and and very first line. This is the first book I've read from Rebecca Ross' backlog and I'm grateful if sad this one! From the lyrical prose, alluring characters, captivating plot and compelling narrative, there's a lot to love about this gorgeous book. I feel in love with Matilda's character so many times that I cannot count. Her characterization was one of the strongest I've ever seen. The romance between Matilda and Vincent was everything I wanted, devotion, longing and yearning for each other on lever incomprehensible to none by themselves. I also absolutely loved the father-daughter relationship between Bade and Matilda, it was honestly what sealed the final star I gave this book. It was overall a rollercoaster of emotions that had hooked to my Kindle in the best way possible! I cannot wait to read Letters of Enchantment duology!
