I really enjoyed this book. The fact it was part autobiographical and part fiction drew me to this one. It was well paced and very well written. I enjoyed the shorter chapters and it never lost my interest. I found myself speed reading to figure out what happened next. As a debut novel this one was great and I can’t wait to read more by her!

I enjoyed this story so much. First off, I loved the way these sisters were together. The way they did everything together, covered for each other, helped each other out, comforted and protected each other. Thinking back on this story, I really think the whole thing played it out the way it did because one sister was trying to protect the other by hiding the body. But also, he was pretty mean and had it coming. I loved the writing in this story. We were really able to get into the minds of the characters, feel their emotions, and understand why they did what they did. It was fast paced and I enjoyed every second of it. This is my first time reading anything from this author and I was pleasantly surprised. I also will read anything based on a true story. This was well done. Great read. I highly recommend it.

This book felt really authentic. It was wrote so well. The emotions rippled across the pages. I don't know what genre I'd quite put it in because it felt like it held so many perfectly in it's pages.
The portrayal of some really deep topics were handled so well. And it managed to make you feel for the situation and character involved.
I've not heard of this author before and I was very impressed.
