Thank you NetGalley and Bloomsbury Children's Books for this eCopy to review

I recently read We Are All Inventors by Kate Pankhurst, we follow Lizzy Sparks, a curious young girl with a passion for inventing. When her pet hamster, Gizmo, goes missing, Lizzy embarks on a journey to create the perfect invention to find him. With the help of her babysitter, Ruby, she learns that inventors never give up and that creativity is all about problem-solving. Along the way, the book introduces young readers to famous female inventors, the industrial revolution, life-saving inventions, and even planet-saving innovations. The mix of STEM topics with an adventurous storyline makes learning fun and accessible.

What I really appreciated about We Are All Inventors was its enthusiastic and empowering tone. Pankhurst does a fantastic job of making science and invention feel exciting and achievable for children. The illustrations are vibrant and packed with information, which makes the book visually engaging. However, I did find that some pages felt a little busy, which might be overwhelming for younger readers or those who prefer a more streamlined layout.

Overall, We Are All Inventors is a fantastic book that encourages curiosity, creativity, and perseverance, a great read for young minds eager to discover the world of invention!

Interactive and informative and very different from book about the same topics out there.
See it for yourself. It's hard to describe, but each page is full of invitation to action, learning and entertainment.
Beautifully illustrated too.

Kate Pankhurst has created a great information book for younger readers exploring the world of inventors.

Inspiring younger readers to be creative, innovative and feel free to explore ideas for their own inventions.
Supported by great examples of famous female inventors and challenges for readers to consider.

The book is woven together when Lizzy loses her hamster Gizmo and needs to think of an invention to find him supported by Ruby her babysitter.

This would be a great classroom text to support a class when considering design and motivating girls to realise their potential in an often perceived male dominated area.

The illustrations are colourful and the layout of the pages has lots to explore( although maybe a little overloaded for some younger learners and readers)

A GREAT Ks1 /lower ks 2 book - 5-9 year olds for young enquiring minds
