With significant corporate brand experience followed by more than three decades in my own business serving smaller businesses I felt well placed to comment that this book certainly has interesting content and practical lists etc but feels like its audience is those with a more formal structure and extensive resources.

For the business that doesn't have departments/department heads and roles such as HR may form part of a CEO's portfolio, the content may not resonate. Many smaller businesses are very limited in terms of capacity and resources, this may all feel a bit much.

The brand examples use while being easily recognisable, reinforce this perspective. I'm not sure how many solopreneurs, miicro, small and even medium sized business would find them relatable.

My partner is a freelance video editor and I got this book for him. So far he said it is quite helpful.
