You can tell when an actual lawyer writes the book and these books were a great example of that. The characters are easy to become invested in and the plot flows naturally without getting too bogged down in legal mumbo jumbo. I will continue to read books by this author. I'm cheap, so I generally like box sets. The main character and his sidekick make the stories different and interesting with the investigations, but the books are still mainly legal dramas. And they make you wonder why many Americans believe they have a good legal system.

These books were the thrilling ride that I love with legal thrillers! I was on the edge of my seat wondering how everything would pan out from book to book. I loved that the books came in one set so I could just keep rolling right through to the next one without the delay of “I should probably go to sleep now.” 🙃 Each book had clever writing, suspense in the cases and clients and just a great fast pace!
