A junior book doing what you'd expect – getting the young reader genned up on space, what is where, how big it is and how it all began. Like the other books I witnessed to complete this five-book set, ideal for the primary school reference centre, this is highly pictorial, formed of the snappier side of paragraphs, but unlike some it actually had things to teach me. The tallest peak in the solar system I could name, but the rest of the top five, and how none of them are on Earth? No idea, before this. OK, that's on the trivial side of things, but the basics of a lot of science and understanding are on these pages, and once again this is a sure-fire four stars.

This book is a brilliant way to introduce kids to the wonders of space. It breaks down tricky concepts into easy-to-understand chunks and is packed with colourful illustrations that really bring the topic to life. I loved how it covers everything from planets and stars to astronauts and space exploration.

It’s simple enough for younger readers but still interesting enough to keep them engaged. A great mix of facts and fun that makes learning about space exciting. Definitely a fantastic choice for any child curious about the universe!

As with others in this set, I struggled to read some of the text due to it being in white and made certain backgrounds difficult to read on. This aside, the book has such beautiful pictures and the information about space is brilliant. Thank you for the opportunity to read and review this book.
