A book that nicely does quite a lot more than you might think. Some pirate-minded rabbit friends are going in search of golden coins, and they find a few here and there, but it's definitely our job to lift the flaps and make sure they get them all. When we find them we see they're numbered, so we have a number revision as we go along. But every second page is an encounter with some other critters, so we have a little scene full of the onomatopoeia of the meeting – the "swoosh" of the dolphins, the crabs going "snip, snap, snip", etc.

Add in the surprise caused by not every flap hiding a gold coin for our adventurers, and you have quite the engaging little piece for young hands to interact with. OK, it's not world-shattering drama or art, but the fact it does multiple things – entertain, do the sounds and do the numbers, with a join-in-and-chant-along chorus a lot of the time – certainly earns it multiple stars. A strong four, at least.

The famous bunnies are on a treasure hunt this time.
As usual, the scenes, the characters and the story are all adorable.
The text invites the young readers/children to action.
A good addition to the series.
