Thank you NetGalley and Hodder & Stoughton for gifting me an early copy of With a Vengeance by Riley Sager!
We are following Anna who has had a difficult past with her family as his father was brought down to justice for causing the death of many people on one of his trains. She is sure that he was not responsible and decides to avenge him.
My first Riley Sager book and I was not disappointed! The atmosphere on the train was exciting, suspenseful and easy to picture.
I was hooked from the beginning and kept having different theories throughout the book. I loved the twists and the concept in general.
The chapters were not too long and the black pages with the hours left added suspense and pace to the book.
I was surprised and thought it was not quite believable how Anna and Dante’s relationship was presented
I would highly recommend it especially for the atmosphere!
Here is a little recap in bullet points of the main points of the book for me:
-Multiple pov
-Great setting and atmosphere
-Hooked from the beginning
-A bit dramatic sometimes lol especially at the beginning

Stuck on a 13 hour train journey with the people that destroyed her family, Anna finds that her plans for justice start to go wrong really quickly. This is my first ever Riley Sager book and it was an easy to read, twisty mystery! I thought the parts being marked by the number of hours remaining on the journey was a good way to add tension while also giving an indication of how many twists were still to come!
I guessed a few of the plot twists, which made me happy! The ending and its conclusion with the remaining characters was a little abrupt but it was an enjoyable read that I binged in a day.
Disclaimer: I received an Advance Reader Copy from NetGalley, but this is my voluntary and honest review.

AMAZING!
Riley Sager does again! Yet another one of his books I couldn’t put down. I absolutely ate this up and pretty much read it in one sitting. Such a gripping read.
Thank you so much to Netgalley and the publisher for the arc from one of my favourite authors
