I really enjoyed this one! It reminded me of greys anatomy in the best way! I liked how we didn’t know who the love interest was until about halfway through it kept me turning pages! Overall this a super easy and cute read!

This was a cute and quick read that made me think of the first few seasons of Grey's Anatomy! The book follows Tilly, an A&E nurse that has been set for quite some time now but finds herself falling for someone in a completely unexpected setting. It definitely had some laugh out loud moments (especially with the first patient they focus on in the book).
I will say the book sort of felt like it was two stories put together into one. The first half started off strong with explaining how they met and the drama that ensued, but I felt like there was just a major dead end that was hit mid way through the story. The notes (that eventually felt a bit like threats) from one of the male characters popped up and just died off without much of an explanation in my opinion. The second half focused more on the family she befriended along the way and goes off to explain how their interactions bloomed. Cute story line, just felt a bit disconnected. I did really appreciate the level of representation there was in the book regarding the challenges some people face when diagnosed with dyslexia.
Thank you NetGalley and Boldwood Books for this digital copy in exchange for an honest review.

"As an accident and emergency room nurse, there’s not much that can catch Tilly off guard (not even those kinds of accidents). But when her bachelor flatmate gets a girlfriend and her sister announces she wants another baby, Tilly is surprised to find herself questioning her happily single existence.
Thankfully, the arrival of a new face on the ward offers a welcome distraction. With his lustrous hair, and charming personality, Dr Luke sets hearts racing all across the hospital. But as Tilly and Luke get to know each other better, she starts to wonder if he’s really her McDreamy after all..."
WOW! I absolutely loved this cute little "Grey's Anatomy" feel goody-romance SO MUCH!
Tilly falls for Luke (literally like Grey's Anatomy FR 😂) The storyline is kind of all over the place at the beginning, but it definitely mashes together better towards the last half of the book. I thoroughly enjoyed all of the characters and their development in the book. Although, I was left wanting just a tad more from Tilly & Luke. The side characters were cute, but I also wanted more from them as well.
Overall, it is a cute and easy/fast read.
Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author too, of course for a copy of this digital ARC in exchange for my honest review! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I found this a book of two halves. The first half i wasn't a massive fan of but I wanted to persevere in the hope it would get better which it did. I dont feel like it needed the first relationship in the book for you to be rooting for Tilly to find her man. I feel this could have easily have been done in a flashback. I really enjoyed the 2nd half but it was brought down by the time it took to ger there unfortunately.

This was such a fun, entertaining novel! It kicks off with Tilly, a nurse hustling through her shifts at a hectic hospital. Things get interesting when a hot new doctor arrives. Tilly quickly falls for his charm only to find out that he is not who he claims to be. She soon makes an an unexpected connection that leads to the kind of relationship she truly deserves.
I loved getting dropped into Tilly’s world of hospital chaos. From the very first chapter, the story captures your attention, starting with an unfortunate incident involving one of Tilly’s patients. I loved the awkward patient situations. They were so funny! The author balances these lighter elements well without losing sight of the story. The novel is witty, a little dramatic, and super entertaining. I highly recommend it.

Really good book which I will recommend to others.
Thanks for the opportunity to read & review it.

DNF- I love a work place romance, especially in the environment I myself work in, but this fell flat for me.
It felt slightly rushed and disorganised.
It wasn’t for me.

In this charming and enjoyable new romance novel, readers follow A&E nurse Tilly as she deals with a variety of changes -- her sister’s desire for another baby, her single flatmate’s new girlfriend -- that make her question her happily single lifestyle. When the handsome new Dr. Luke arrives at the hospital, Tilly finds herself charmed by him, but the longer they know each other, the more uncertain Tilly feels about their relationship. As everything happens, Tilly must figure out if she is blinded by her desire to find someone and if she’s missed what’s been in front of her the whole time. With a great cast of characters and a brilliant plot, readers will love the tropes and dynamics that play out over the course of this book. Tilly’s growth and mindset are relatable to the readers, and her desire to help others as a nurse is incredibly admirable. The emotional tones and storyline are really strong and pull readers into the story, while the character dynamics and growth add great details to this heartwarming romance novel. Sweet, emotional, and thoroughly enjoyable, fans of Phoebe MacLeod’s books will absolutely love her latest book and its vibrant cast of brilliantly written characters.

First of all I would like to thank NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I was pulled into getting this ARC was I was expecting it to be a Grey’s Anatomy style hospital romance. It was an easy and fast read however sometimes I felt that it was too fast paced and felt like I was speed reading the book. There was humour thrown in which did go with the pacing of the book.
I think my only disadvantage of this book is that there seemed to be too many side plots to the actual story and I felt like the main plot was sometimes put on a back burner. It was a fun read and would recommend but it isn’t the strongest romance I have read.

A quick and enjoyable read. Story moved along at a good pace and the characters were just fine. Good beach read or one to curl up with and have a mug of tea.

With warmth, wit, and a healthy dose of heart, Phoebe MacLeod delivers a delightful romantic comedy in Love, Accidentally. Centered around Tilly, a dedicated emergency nurse with no plans for love, the story takes a charming turn when her world is disrupted by the arrival of the calm, handsome, and unexpectedly complex Dr. Luke.
MacLeod crafts a cast of likable, layered characters, from Tilly’s loyal best friend to the chaotic yet supportive work environment of the hospital. The banter is quick, the emotional beats ring true, and the romance unfolds with a satisfying balance of tension and tenderness. What truly elevates this story is Tilly’s personal journey—her reluctance to fall in love, her guarded independence, and the slow unraveling of her vulnerability.
The pacing is brisk and engaging, perfect for readers looking for a light yet emotionally grounded read. MacLeod strikes the ideal tone for modern romance: hopeful, smart, and filled with the kind of charm that makes the reader smile long after the final page.
Perfect for: Fans of slow-burn love stories, strong yet relatable heroines, and uplifting reads that blend humor, heart, and second chances.

'Love, Accidentally' by Phoebe MacLeod is a lovely, feel-good romantic comedy that deftly handles the challenges of contemporary love and self-discovery. We are introduced to Tilly, an A&E nurse happy with her single existence until major upheavals around her bring about an unexpected urge to connect.
The writer introduces Dr. Luke, the quintessential "McDreamy" who at first distracts Tilly from her emerging introspection. Their developing romance astutely has the purpose of emphasizing Tilly's own growing realization of what exactly she is looking for in a boyfriend. The strength of the narrative is the witty charm and the believably inner monologue of a woman asking herself if she needs to question her known comfort zone.
The book is a lighthearted exploration of perception versus reality and the notion that what we are looking for may be nearer than we believe. With its compelling hospital backdrop and cast of helpful characters, 'Love, Accidentally' is a warm and comforting love story, ideal for lovers of lighthearted, sentimental novels.

REVIEW: Love, Accidentally by Phoebe MacLeod ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Love, Accidentally by Phoebe MacLeod is a charming and delightful read. The story’s lively and quirky premise immediately drew me in, filled with charming accidental meetings and surprising sparks. There are many hilarious moments, and the overall idea is just so lovable. If you enjoy light-hearted and humorous rom-coms, this book is sure to win your heart.
That said, some parts felt a bit slow, and I wanted to connect more deeply with the characters. It was still an enjoyable read, though not one I couldn’t put down. A few things were predictable, which is okay, but I was hoping for some more exciting surprises.
Overall, it’s a lovely and breezy book that’s perfect for a relaxed afternoon—ideal when you want something light.
Thank you so much to NetGalley and Boldwood Books for sharing an early copy for my honest thoughts.

This book started with real promise, a humorous A&E admission for an unfortunate intimate encounter with a washer, but from there on, though it was a fairly enjoyable read, it fell a little short for me. Tilly is a nurse in the A&E department and she gets taken in by the charm of the new doctor but all isn't as it seems. Overall, the characters were interesting but I feel the plot was a bit tedious.

It is a beautifully written medical romance. The book is split into two parts, each with a different vibe. I didn't think it was bad, just different, and it took some getting used to. However, the book was humorously written and entertained me well. I also liked Tilly. Overall, I enjoyed reading the book.

I felt this book was missing a little something. It was ok, but it wasn't that interesting. I have read better things by this author, so this won't prevent me from reading future books. But this one just fell a bit flat.

this book was enjoyable, and i must admit the love interest is a man of my heart. unfortunately the plot of this book was very confusing. i think the blurb is not a very good image of the book, as the first and second half of the book seemed to be entirely different stories. i dont think the first half was needed to make the romance in the second half work. actually, i even think it overshadowed the actual romance. it just felt like the author suddenly changed her mind about the plot. nevertheless, i had fun.
thank you to netgalley and the author for sending me the book in exchange for an honest review

I wanted to like this one but felt like the circumstances were a little horrible to Tilly.
I wasn’t a huge fan of the cheating scandal and all that surrounded that part of the story.
I did like how she met Will and developed that relationship along with his father.
A lot of potential triggers for people though.

2.5 / 3 stars
Tilly is an accident and emergency senior nurse, and while here professional life is a breeze her love life is severely lacking which is made even clearer to her when her long time bachelor roommate settles into a relationship and her sister announces that she wants to try for another baby. With the addition of some new single faces on the ward will she find the love she is looking for or is she trying too hard?
As a previous reader of Phoebe MacLeod I usually enjoy her books, they are an easy and fun time read however this one fell flat for me, the format was strange and the side stories were far more interesting than the main plot.
There were positive elements to this book that I did enjoy I loved the scenes focused around the emergencies coming into the hospital and all the different scenarios that doctors and nurses can face in one shift alone, some were really humorous while others touched heartstrings and focused on the dignity and care of a patient. I also really enjoyed the subplots of the FMC's different friendships, they were messy and not linear but very, very real and filled with love.
Now for why the book fell flat for me - The story was written in two parts, the first was during a relationship that went wrong and the second was during the romantic happy-ever-after relationship, this was not made clear at all. Because it was not obvious and we were seeing this severely red flag relationship fall apart for so much of the book it created such a tense and stressful read, if this section was maybe shorter or we were seeing the very end of the relationship rather than start to finish it may have made more sense to the overall story. During the second part of the story where we finally see the developing relationship between the actual MMC and FMC it felt very rushed and the chemistry between them was severely lacking.
While I didn't necessarily enjoy the book, that doesn't mean someone else wont and I'm certainly not ruling out reading another of her future projects

This was certainly entertaining with the way the writing style of the author is. But the plot is extremely wayward at best. I don't know what the author was thinking with the pacing and "plot twist" if I can even call it that. Everything is interesting to say the least, I did finish the entire book. It's just plain messy drama if that is something that sounds right up your alley, pick this up.
