Who is the real Katie Cole? A question a lot of people want to know the answer to.

Did she become a murderer or was she set up? Troubled upbringing and attention seeking , did it really carry on to enable her to kill 4 influential men?

Thank you Net galley for letting me read this book.

Tricky book for me. I found the perspective of these men talking about Kate very chilling. The constant you, you, you felt accusative and threatening.

I like the premise that we present ourselves differently to those in our life. I might have settled into it more if there had been another female voice.

Twisty and different it’s certainly going to generate chat at book clubs !

I actually really enjoyed this book. The basic premise is Katie has been charged with the murder of four wealthy businessmen. The story is told from the perspective of five different men who all think they know her.

It is only in the last chapter do you hear Katie’s side of the story.

This was fast paced and kept me turning the pages and guessing right up to the end

This is a legal thriller with a difference. A young woman is accused of poisoning four men in an exclusive members club in London. The case against her is compelling and when arrested, she claims “they deserved it”…but did she do it? Instead of hearing from Katie herself, her story is unveiled from the men in her life; her father, her barrister, her friend and her lover.
Filled with lots of twists and turns, this kept my attention and kept me guessing. It’s got interesting messages about stereotypical and inheritance throughout the plot. I would definitely recommend it if you are a fan of a good whodunnit or legal thriller.

Thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the chance to review an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

This book is an absolute must read. It’s fresh it’s different. The way the book is written makes it easy to read each chapter is from one of the men in her life. Who exactly is Katherine, KC. Killer Kate, kitkat and wildcat and who is she to each of these men. I don’t want to say anymore about the story as I don’t want to spoil people’s enjoyment. This book is just something different. It was one I wanted to sit and devoured in one session. This is a really must read for 2025. Can’t rate it highly enough. I definitely have a new author on my read list 😊

This is such a clever book. The concept of one character viewed through the eyes of others, plus an intriguing did she didn't she storyline really ramps up the tension.

The characters are all authentic with the ir voices uniquely different and the two timelines work perfectly. It's also plotted brilliantly and is so well written, turning the pages becomes compulsive.
Very cleverly done.
Thank you for my early arc.

DNF at 25%

I found the jumping of the narratives very hard to read as it really disrupted the pacing & flow of the book. I'm disappointed because I loved the premise of the story & it held so much promise.

I liked this because it was clever, one character viewed through the eyes of many others, plus an intriguing did she didn't she storyline.

The different points of view all have their own unique voice as the story plays out on the page via current and past events.

Her Many Faces is plotted beautifully and is well written, making it a genuine page turner.

Excellent. A clever psychological thriller.

**Her Many Faces** dances like fire on the page—
A quicksilver tale that grips from the very first line,
Relentless in pace, its staccato chapters
Strike like a drumbeat, pulsing toward dawn.

Five voices rise—men entwined in her shadow,
Each conjuring Katherine Cole anew:
A poisoner. A daughter. A lover. A lie.
To one, a muse. To another, a monster.
To all, a mystery they cannot contain.

Their truths twist like smoke in a courtroom’s glare,
As she stands alone in the eye of the storm—
Torn by tongues, reshaped by gaze,
Their judgments carving masks upon her face.

Cloke weaves perception into peril,
Exposing the subtle blade of the male gaze,
Where justice is blurred by spectacle
And a woman’s soul becomes a stage.

For every tale has many tellers,
But not all tell what’s real.

If you crave sharp turns and shifting truths,
A trial of masks and midnight revelations—
*Her Many Faces* will haunt your hours,
And leave you questioning:
Who holds the truth…
And who holds the knife?

Katie Cole has been charged with the murder of four men at an exclusive private club—but did she really do it? This novel takes a fresh, compelling approach to storytelling, unravelling the mystery through the perspectives of the men who knew Katie.
I found this to be an engaging read, with its unique narrative structure offering an intriguing lens on the unfolding events. However, while the exploration of the male gaze was present, I felt it could have been more pronounced. The characters leaned toward one-dimensional portrayals, and a deeper, more nuanced approach could have elevated the story, making its analysis of gender dynamics even stronger.
Despite this, I thoroughly enjoyed the novel and would recommend it to readers looking for a thought-provoking and unconventional narrative.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC.

A cleverly written book is told from the perspectives of five different men leading you to think just how many versions are there to one woman,a loving kind person or a cold blooded killer one says shes sweet another says she dangerous just who is the true Katherine Cole?
A good read and a must for lovers of a good courtroom thriller that gets into your head and stays long after the end.

A great read about Katie a waitress at a gentleman's club who is accused of murder. Each chapter is narrated by 5 different men and the reader has to question whether or not Katie is the killer. Definitely a book to be recommended.

Her Many Faces is a cleverly written and compelling thriller that explores identity, perception, and the secrets we keep both from others and ourselves. I really enjoyed the layered storytelling and the way the narrative slowly peeled back the truth through different perspectives. The characters felt realistic and flawed in a way that made them engaging, and the story kept me guessing right up to the end. While there were a couple of moments that felt a little slower or slightly stretched, overall it was a gripping read with a satisfying conclusion.

I absolutely devoured this book - its a completely addictive and binge worthy thriller.

Her Many Faces is a unique and whip sharp read that hooks the reader from page one. Completely gripping and fast paced, I was reading way past my bedtime.

Four influential and rich men are found poisoned at March House, an exclusive private members club in London. A young waitress is arrested immediately afterwards for their gruesome murder. She fled the crime scene and all the evidence points startlingly towards her. A cut and closed case.

As the sensational trial of the year begins, and a media storm ensues, five men narrate the story as they reflect on how well they really know her. It's a very timely and relevant story.

Each of the short punchy chapters are a point of view of the men in their own distinct voice - her father, her childhood friend, her lover, her barrister and a journalist who is covering the case.

Each has a wildly different perception of her - the reader is whipped between thinking she must be guilty and she can't possibly be gulity.

There's twists and turns as we learn more about her life and events leading up to the murders - but who is telling the truth?

Recollections vary and people can be unreliable. Evidence is circumstantial, and without context can mean anything. Who is controlling the narrative and why?

It's very clever and a real rollercoaster - the ending was absolute perfection and I gasped out loud - very satisfying!

Highly recommended - thriller fans and true crime enthusiasts will love this book.

A great book. I did struggle in the beginning with the change of characters regularly but once I had them sorted in my mind I really enjoyed the rollercoaster of the ride. I loved the way that each character had it’s own story and perspective on Katie. The main male characters, her dad, John, a journalist Max Todd who takes up the story, a former boyfriend and a childhood friend, Gabriel see Katie completely differently and this is where the story gets interesting. Did she didn’t she. The book starts with Katie growing up and telling tales or so some think but was she telling the truth all along. The book deals with this in a perfect way. The story revolves around whether Katie poisoned four men in a fashionable club, all of them very wealthy. What was she to gain out of this if she did, indeed, murder them. Katie is the only person who is being prosecuted for the crime and she has to rely on her Barrister, Tarun Rao, to find out the truth as she continues to deny the crime. Once in Court Katie realises who is for her and against her and eventually the books to a conclusion which I will not write about here as no spoilers. I am still not sure about her. Definitely a worthwhile read

Murders have been committed and a young waitress has been accused of being the perpetrator. This is a did she/didn't she do it story with a twist because the waitresses' story is told from the points of view of five different men present in her life. As I read each chapter, I found my opinion of her changing. In one chapter I detested her, the next I empathised with her and then I liked her...confusing and clever. The different name each man assigned her gave further clues into her personality. I thought this was such an intriguing book! Highly recommended!

Who is Katie Cole? Is she the murderer of 4 prominent men or has she been used as a scapegoat? In this brilliant unique novel we hear from 5 men who all have their own views and opinions on her character
All of the men have their own pet name for her and as the story developed I found myself rooting for Katie, yes, she's flawed but her heart is in the right place.
I raced through this book, the words flow perfectly. If you love mystery novels and courtroom drama then you'll love this book
