If you need a true brother’s best friend trope, THIS BOOK WILL SCREAM YOUR NAME!! the tension, the swoon, the everything hit just right. The fact that these two are unable to forget the moment they had 2 years ago. FINALLY after the jealousy hits and trying to deny the undeniable, the truth comes out and the rest is truly history.

This was such a fast paced story.
I loved the angst and frustration between Sienna & Gavin, the push and pull just made their story so much sweeter.
The chemistry between these two is amazing, they both have their own personal struggles, but when they finally accept that they both want & need the other and no one else it’s all flames. Their passion and banter is great, their friendship is sweet.
I hope we get Coop’s story next.

If you're like me and can't get enough of a brother's best friend secret romance, then you'll probably enjoy this book! It definitely hit a lot of my favorite tropes such as boy obsessed, sports romance, and found family.

The author's writing style really pulled me in, and I found myself connecting with the characters. I especially enjoyed learning about Gavin's backstory with his family. Plus, the dual POV was a nice touch, and I loved getting to see things from both Sienna and Gavin's perspectives. The side characters were a fun addition to the story too!

While I enjoyed the book overall, I was hoping for a little more chemistry between Sienna and Gavin. The chemistry just didn't quite hit as much as I wanted it to. I also found myself wishing for some swoon worthy moments. I also would have loved to see them be an actual couple a bit more.

Avery Caris and Victor Quixabas narrated this audiobook in dual narration and were new voices for me, and I thought they did a solid job bringing Sienna and Gavin to life. They definitely helped me get into the story and connect with each one.

I'll definitely continue with this series and and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next! If you're a fan of the tropes I mentioned, it's worth checking out!

I love this series so much and this book was even better than the first one!

Monica Murphy is one of my favorite storytellers. Her witty banter, relatable characters, and endless intrigue always leaves me satisfied. Her writing style is personable and easy to read. I always feel immersed in her stories effortlessly. The plot of this book was so compelling. I was on the edge of my seat with the back and forth between the characters. The only critique I can muster is that I wish the story had been longer and had a little more depth. Everything was there but I wish that some things had been explored further. I think that the emotional impact of the story would have been greater if they had been.

These characters were fabulous! I felt such a visceral connection with them. They were raw and relatable. The character development was executed well. I felt engrossed in the lives of these characters and felt very attached to them and invested in their story. I was already hyped to read Gavin and Sienna's story after all the tension in the previous book. All of the characters are distinct and well-rounded. I love the found family aspect in Murphy's books. She makes the reader feel like they are a part of the extended friend/family group.

Gavin and Sienna had undeniable chemistry that felt easy and natural. I liked that their chemistry wasn't simply based on lust. They were able to talk to each other about real things and felt comfortable being vulnerable with each other. There was a bit of back and forth between these two but eventually Gavin was all in. Gavin was such a darling and didn't hold back his feelings once he realized the depth of his feelings for Sienna. I loved his alpha moments but his sweet moments were equally riveting.

Overall, this was an engaging college sports romance with memorable characters and a romance equal parts sweet and spicy. This story locked me in immediately and held me hostage. I love all of these characters so much and can't wait for more books in this series. This friend group has imprinted on my soul.

I really enjoyed this football romance. Brother's best friend is one of my favorite tropes. Sienna had been pining after her brother's best friend for years. She had no idea that Gavin felt the same way. Gavin would never act on his feelings for Sienna because he didn't want to ruin his friendship with Cooper. One night during Sienna's freshman year of college, Gavin walks Sienna home from the bar and they almost hook up but Sienna's roommate walks in and Gavin leaves. Gavin and Sienna then spend the next few years avoiding each other. When Gavin's senior year rolls around, Sienna ends up coming around more often and they discover they both still have an attraction to each other. They start secretly seeing each other because they are afraid of what their friends and Sienna's brother will say.
I listened to the audiobook version of this book and I loved the narrators. They really brought out the emotions of the characters and it was a pleasure to listen to!

I honestly loved every second of this book. The voice actors really did this book justice! 100% recommend!$

Absolutely LOVED this Monica Murphy magic!!! This was the perfect combination of insta-love(ish) and angst all wrapped up in one delicious package. I flew through the audiobook, and the narration was perfect. Gavin Maddox was the perfect combination of a sweet and sexy playboy with a dark, dirty side hidden underneath, and Sienna was an excellent match with a sweet, chill, good girl, laid back demeanor and just enough spice to exude the right amount of confidence! The spice was spicin' and was pleasantly dirtier than I had expected and I left reading this book wishing I could either re-read as if it were the first time or I had another one right away! Absolutely deliciously satisfied and hoping we get another one of these babies for another one of the guys!!!!Definitely a 5 star!

Gavin and Sienna are a match made in heaven! They don’t know it yet, but this slow burn romance will keep you wanting more! Football QB and best friend to FMC little sister! Forbidden. But after two long years they quit avoiding each other and the secrets come out! This is a 10/10 recommend for me! Heartwarming and sweet love! Pick this one up for sure!
