This Book Club kit looks like a fun way to discuss this book with your friends (or fellow wedding guests, in-laws, murder suspects, or total strangers barricaded in a bookstore). It includes a short interview with the author about her experience and motivations for writing the book.

The kit includes group discussion prompts about both the plot of the book and how the members of the discussion would act in a similar scenario (favorite question: Would you rather plan a last-minute wedding or solve a murder?).

The kit also had some fun extras, to include some printable bookmarks related to the book, recipes for party drinks and cheesecake, some "minute-mystery" party games, and recommendations for other books you might like if you enjoyed this book, plus the assorted advertisements for other works from the publisher.

I absolutely loved this book club kit!! Our book club typically meets at a home for food and drinks so this kit combines everything you need to have a fun evening. Love that there are discussion provoking questions that are tradition to most book clubs but also fun activities like the quiz and the “solve the murder” game. The recipes sound delicious and the bookmarks are a super cute addition!

This was my first book club kit that I requested and it was such a great addition. The recipes are my favorite part. They made it all fit together and fun. The questions were also thought provoking and the bookmarks matched the book perfectly.

This book was an absolute treat—pun intended! Murder by Cheesecake brings our favorite Golden Girls back to life with a whip-smart mystery full of sass, sweetness, and just the right amount of suspense.

Set in sunny Miami, the story kicks off when Dorothy’s date ends up face-down in a cheesecake during a St. Olaf-themed wedding (yes, you read that right), and suddenly the girls are back in sleuthing mode. Each character feels so true to the original show—Rose is adorably clueless, Sophia is as sharp as ever, Blanche brings the drama, and Dorothy’s deadpan wit steals the show.

The humor is pitch-perfect, the mystery kept me flipping pages, and the warm, familiar energy of the Golden Girls made it feel like coming home. There were a few predictable turns, but honestly? I didn’t mind one bit. It’s comfort-reading at its finest—with murder and cheesecake on the side.

If you’re a fan of cozy mysteries or just miss these four fabulous ladies, this one’s for you!

This is fun! I love the bookmarks!!! I didn't read the discussion questions very carefully because I was afraid of spoilers. This is one I do intend to read, but It is not at the top of the TBR.

The note to readers section at the beginning references spoiler and content warnings—there’s also a link to the story graph page for the book in order to see a more comprehensive list of content warnings. The author interview was fun to read, followed up by some excellent discussion questions to include in your book club meeting and some space for members to write their own questions. The bookmarks included were actually pretty amusing to me, though I didn’t love the look of them. As usual here, we have some recipes for drinks and food to include. What was most exciting abut this kit, though, was the inclusion of a quiz and a minute mystery to solve together—I wish they’d included a few more of these. Finally, we have some read next suggestions included at the end.

This Book Club Kit will add to readers’ enjoyment of this novel. Those who enjoyed The Golden Girls on tv will, I think, want to see this and read the book.

The kit includes an interview with the author, questions for discussion, recipes, quizzes, book suggestions and more. I thought that the printable bookmarks were a nice touch.

I enjoyed this fun publication.

A perfect book club kit with all you need: the author interview, thought provoking discussion questions that will make you book club ponder what you need to really get into it...not to mention recipes for drinks and printable book marks that really fit the golden girls theme perfectly.

I loved this book kit. The discussion questions were helpful for leading the group. I also really liked the drink recipes. I would purchase more book kits like this one in the future.

This is my first book club kit ever and I‘m instantly obsessed with all the different options to do. I especially love the cheesecake recipe and that there is also a mocktail version for every cocktail. It‘s a nice touch! Overall, the concept is perfectly fitted towards the vibes of the book and the design of the booksmarks is very cute.

For groups, I think everything but the character quiz can be used in a nice way, especially the reflection questions, but that can also be engaging if you‘re doing it alone, because you can reflect about the different plot points.
I will definitely look at more book kits in the future!

Love this, as a massive fan of the Golden Girls I recently read the book - and got the audio book and this was a great addition.

Lots of ideas for book clubs, but even as a solo reader lots of points to think about and I think that adds to a book. Loved the bookmarks and really enjoyed the extra mystery that came with it!
