This is the first book I’ve read by this author. I was intrigued by the cozy cottage mystery vibes. I thought the characters were really interesting. I love the title of the book. I would definitely check out more books in this series and other books by the author.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys cozy mysteries!

A hundred-year-old mystery, spirits from the past who want the truth to see light and the warm circle friends always having your back. This is a great story. We visit with our four friends of the Cardboard Cottage mysteries.

A newcomer in town has brought in a collection of Ouija boards into Tiddlywinks, Amys vintage game shop. She buys them to help the newcomer out but is intrigued by them and the vision she had recently, are they related?

This story takes to the 1920s and besides the mystery, it also tells a tale of the friendship of women just like Amy and her friends. This was a great story that kept me on the edge of my seat. It had unexpected twists and turns and, at least to me, a surprise suspect.

I enjoyed the four friends with their sassiness and their friendly bickering. I would love to be a part of one of their road trips. What fun!

The blurb intrigued me enough to try this book, so I requested it. I started this book, and felt like these characters were so fleshed-out, that maybe I’d missed something…then I found out this is the fifth book in the series. No matter, I continued the book as authors usually are good about keeping new readers to the series up on previous events. I’m happy to say this author did a great job. I enjoyed this book very much even though this didn’t really have any paranormal elements, which I enjoy the most. This book also has a very old-fashioned feeling, sort of like we were in the past but not. I think readers of cozies will definitely enjoy this series so give it a try. Recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.

Well crafted story and interesting characters. I thought this author was a skillful story teller. Many obscure references that are fully explained made the story unique. Mystery fans will find this a must read.
