My Star-Crossed Summer is everything you want in a feel-good second chance romance — equal parts heartwarming, nostalgic, and charmingly swoony. The main characters are beautifully developed, with chemistry that feels authentic and earned!

An excellent read for any and all readers! Author comes at you with both barrels and knocks you out of your shoes! Great job fleshing out all the characters. I give this book FIVE stars! Definitely recommend!

This heartwarming story features an utterly adorable plot and a cast of the cutest characters you'll instantly fall in love with. The second-chance romance trope is beautifully executed, adding layers of emotional depth and sweet nostalgia. Set against the backdrop of a charming summer camp, the setting feels both nostalgic and magical, bringing the characters' journey to life in the most delightful way. If you're a fan of feel-good romance with plenty of heart, this book is a must-read.

Lucy Day, you know how to wrap a girl in a book quick! I could not put this book down. I loved the adventurous love story, and the honest moments between the characters. Wonderfully done.

My Star-Crossed Summer is the fourth book in the Jasmine Falls Love Stories series but can absolutely be enjoyed as a standalone as well.
This was a very summer sweet romance to read. I loved the connection between the caracters. It was just simply amazing.

Sweet summer romance especially for those of us who have ties to summer camp! Enjoy a few twists and turns as college best friends find thier way back to each other.

This was a sweet book. Summer camp gives you all those nostalgic vibes - having your camp "boyfriend or girlfriend".
This was the 4th book in the Jasmine Falls Love Stories, and having not read the first 3 books, I can assure you that this can be read as a standalone book.
The two main characters: Noah and Victoria, had good chemistry throughout. The history of the two was sweet and helped the reader feel their connectedness. I found myself laughing several times throughout the plot. I did feel like there was a bit more to be desired but still wasn't bad. Just needed a little more of something for me.
Thank you NetGalley & Lucy Day for allowing me to read this book!

I really liked this book! It was super easy to read, and I blew through it in a day. It was super catchy right from the first chapter. I liked that it showed both points of view as well. Both characters were written well and seemed consistent.
The only reason that I didn't give it five stars is that it seemed to play a lot on a miscommunication trope that could have been solved by them just having a conversation, but Victoria refused.
Overall, it was a really good book that I would recommend, with a forewarning of the miscommunication that goes on throughout the book.

Okay but i just love a good summer camp romance!! i was immersed in Victoria and Noah's romance and the chemistry between them! The tension was also perfect. It was so entertaining watching them battle their feelings while also having to get over their past with each other. the little flashbacks of their history really added to the characters and how i viewed them. If you want an entertaining and funny summer romance i highly recommend this one.

ARC REVIEW:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫
Victoria Griffin thought she had her life figured out, that was until she called off her wedding and lost her career in real estate. Knowing she needs a reprieve, her best friend offers her a temporary escape working at a kids camp in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Not one for the outdoors, Victoria prepares to be pushed past her comfort limits. However, she isn’t prepared for her coworker to be the one and only, Noah Valentine. Noah and Victoria were best friends in college, but a misunderstanding caused them to go years without speaking. Will Victoria survive the three weeks of camp, or will Noah’s presence force her to once again walk away?
Friends-to-more is my all time favorite trope, if it is done well. Lucy Day’s My Star-Crossed Summer is a great example of how to write this trope. By employing dual POVs and alternating timelines she offers readers an unbiased look at the events and emotions that first separated and then lead to Victoria and Noah’s reconciliation.
Day’s choice to set the story in the Blue Ridge Mountains also played a vital role in the trope being successful. The forced proximity required the main characters to work together. Having to interact and pretend they didn’t know one another ultimately worked as a catalyst. It reminded them what they loved about one another as well as highlighted the growth them made during their separation. This provided just enough tension to hold my attention without it becoming overly dramatic and unrealistic.
Special thanks to Netgalley, BooksGoSocial, Blue Crow Books, and Lucy Day for allowing me to read this book in exchange for my honest review.

This book was a solid 3.5 for me. it took me a couple of chapters to really get into it but i did smash it all out in half a day. I am a sucker for a second chance romance but there is one line i didn’t like where one of the characters specifically says second chance romance which did make me cringe a little. i did really enjoy the ending it was very sweet
