This book is a top fave. I actually chose this book because of the author and once again, she did not disappoint.

Let me start by saying MC reads are not really my thing anymore. I feel like I’ve kind of outgrown them and find it harder to believe a loving lasting relationship can exist in that environment. I have nothing against MCs or the people in them and wouldn’t mind a night or two ONLY with a member or two myself 🥰 Then again I can’t help but see most as walking STDs given their behavior lol Given that I had some high hopes for this book given all the positive reviews but sadly as it went on it only pissed me off more and had me hoping the heroine would just up and leave. <Spoiler>Not only is there tons of OW drama there’s also a secret wife, soon to be ex wife. The hero refuses to even tell the heroine how many girls he’s been with since they were together a mere five weeks ago. I think it’s the misogyny that just pisses me off so much and how the heroine settles for Dex. She’s so young and he’s only the second guy she’s ever even slept with. I guess I see such a bright future ahead of her that the repeated warning signs (ie risks to her and the baby) just made me think she could do so much better. If anything I’d have enjoyed it more if they didn’t get together right away but she had time to grow up on her own and wow her oats however she saw fit like he did. The whole she got pregnant so they gave it a go irks me. She even mentions they wouldn’t be together were she not pregnant and he can’t deny it lol. Am I being too harsh? I just feel like she is and will give up so much for him and him being in the club that it’s not fair. Personally I think what bothered me most was how unsuited I found the heroine to be in this lifestyle. She’s spunky, outspoken and a genuinely decent person and she’s told time and time again to remember her place. 😡 Shes staying with the hero because it’s better than being at home with her controlling and insane mother yet at the clubhouse her life and her babies life are in danger every moment of the day. She witnesses a friend die, has to shoot someone in self defense, gets assaulted by a dumb club member, gets sent away (alone) for her safety because the ‘clubhouse’ is too unsafe and she’s distracting the hero and finally after having her baby she has to endure him being locked up for six months. </spoiler> Just so much no from me. I think my twenty something self was more suited and understanding to this life and I could understand even now that some women are just suited to this life and others are not. Regardless if I liked them as a couple or not I didn’t find the heroine suited for being an old lady especially the old lady to the club president who wants to work for the DA and raise a baby safely and happily 🤷🏼‍♀️

I loved all the banter in this book, Faye was nothing but sass. In fact all the characters are enjoyable except Eric who we find out is an even bigger dick than we originally thought. Unfortunately the sex scenes weren't as steamy as I would have liked. That will have to change for Rake's book to work, you can't bring in that kind of kink and have almost no detail. All in all it was pretty good, quite enjoyable. I'll read the next book.

Dragon’s Lair is a wonderfully unique and energetically pulse-pounding MC adventure that will keep you on your toes and giggling from time to time. It is a delightfully fun and deeply emotional journey which will pull on your heartstrings without fail. It knocked me completely off my feet, and I never fully recovered. Falling into this world was a beautiful dream that I never hoped to never awaken from.

There were plenty of unexpected moments of pain, love, and utter bliss, and I just couldn’t get enough. This is an outstanding story chock full of more heart and soul then I knew what to do with, and I cherished each and every one. The amazing MC members were such a diverse group that warmed my heart at how they tested and yet opened their arms to their newest unconventional member. This was an atypical story that I love so hard with its incredible steam, beautiful friendship, and unbreakable love.

Chantel Fernando took my heart by storm and refused to give it back. She has created such a magnificent treasure that I will never recover from its true impact. I hope to visit her amazing world again and find out how what her wonderful characters are up to next. If you enjoy MC stories, then you absolutely NEED to read and savor this incredible book!

This is one of the best MC books I've read. I literally inhaled it in one sitting.

Faye's life comes crumbling down when she finds her boyfriend with her best friend. She then ends up spending the night with her exes brother- the guy she's had a crush on for years. Few months down the line she's running away from heartless parents & misery.

Dex the sexy alpha biker finds her & brings her back to his club. Love the convos Faye has with the bikers. Great storyline with great characters.

If you like MC books then this is a must read. Loved it.
