If I had to choose one word to describe Tookey's selections, it would be "safe." The movies he deems worthy are the usual selections of critical darlings and respectable popular films that are the bread and butter of all movie lists. He does include a few "edgy" films, but this is mostly a collection designed to appeal to the widest possible audience.
