Fiona’s sister vanished without a trace 5 years ago. So now she’s headed to find out what happened to her. She assumes a new identity and rents a room where her sister stayed when she disappeared.

I really was intrigued by the premise of this book. I love stories where people disappear and someone comes to investigate what happened many years later. The story fell a bit flat for me in terms of some of the characters actions and motivations.

This was full of twists and turns. I couldn’t put this book down, I needed to know who did it and I had no idea who I could trust.

This was such a good thriller with interesting interconnecting characters.

Special shout out to Keith who was so sweet and I’m glad he made friends with both sisters.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC.
I am rating this 3.5 stars.

I think this was a decent thriller. There were some overdone phrases and themes in this novel, but I cannot fault our author for that. It is popular writing for a reason. It took a little for me to get into, but the writing style made it easy for the reader to really question everything happening around our main character, Fiona. She is looking for her sister, but everything around her in doing so leaves her with lots of questions and wondering whom she can trust. I really do enjoy thrillers that are written that way because I really feel like I am in the mind and body of the main character in the novel.

There were some decent twists, nothing too groundbreaking in the field, but I still think they were written well and made sense for the narrative.

I will be reading more.

3.75 rounding up to 4 stars

I finished this in one sitting and it was an easy read, so for that alone, I LOVE it.

It also had lots of twists and turns, a shocking scene, and some grief. There was genuine depth to the characters.

This one packed a punch and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good, quick thriller.

Thank you for the free eARC! I am leaving honest feedback voluntarily.

Short and sweet chapters! I wasn’t sure who to even trust! It was a little bit of a slow burn working its way up, but that way you get to learn more of the story. I thoroughly enjoyed this one

This psychological thriller is a wild ride! The pace is more of a slow burn that keeps you flipping the pages. It is definitely a “who can you trust” novel. There were a couple of twists I saw coming but others I didn’t.

In Fiona’s quest to find her sister, Amy, is she going to get more than she bargained for?

I think Keith was possibly one of my favorite characters.

Thank you Inkubator Books and NetGalley for the advanced digital copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

Absolutely fantastic book. I was suspicious of everyone and all the characters had their flaws, but were mostly still likeable or you could understand their emotional turmoil/thinking that lead to their decisions,

This book is about a young adult whose sister went missing along with another man who were not known to have been associated with each other. The MC travels into the city to come find out actually what happened, where she stumbles upon other characters, are they hiding anything... read to find out!

I enjoyed this book, It was the first book I have read from Ann Girdharry. I enjoyed the books flow, and the plot. I loved the plot twists throughout the book. Normally, Authors (in my experience) like to build up to the plot, giving the reader a build up of predictions, but this author kept coming up with plot twists on the spot throughout the story which I incredibly loved! I never really knew what to expect on the next plot.

Unfortunately, the things I liked less about the book were the character file/buildup. I really adore when books have details and descriptions about the characters, and how they look. I found that with the main characters in this story they were lacking. Furthermore, I disliked was how the topics changed from sentence to sentence very quickly, and finally, The detailing of the place where the story was situated, whilst im unsure if the author intended to have it in a unknown real life city, or just didnt feel it was important, I always like to be able to vision where the story is taking place, especially in Thrillers!

please note that this is just my personal opinion but throughout I enjoyed the novel and am glad I picked it up!

I was really excited to be given the opportunity to read ‘I Know You Saw Her’ because the blurb made me think of Freida McFadden and the cover gave C.M. Taylor vibes.

Unfortunately I decided to DNF this book at page 100. Although the chapters are short and snappy, which I love, there is a lot of ‘tell’ in this book, and not enough ‘show’.

The book feels rushed in sections, like Fiona’s interactions with Harry, and some of the leaps in thinking Fiona makes don’t track for me. The setting could be more vivid, and I didn’t enjoy the dialogue.

I did like that something was always happening, and I enjoyed reading the snippets of the past.

Fiona sets out to look for her missing sister, and stays at the same lodgings as Amy did, hoping that the owner and her son will throw some light on Amy's disappearance.

This is the first book I have read by Ann Girdharry, and I want to read more!
Fiona is a determined woman, but a little gullible, trusting the wrong people.
The book is a little slow paced in places, but is a page turner. I just had to know what Fiona found out!
There are some twists and a lot of secrets, and everyone seems to be a suspect.

4/5 stars from me

An enjoyable read that kept me intrigued.

Fiona is looking for her sister, Amy, who disappeared five years earlier. while studying at university. Under a false name, Fiona rents a room with the same landlady and her son, who Amy was living with when she disappeared. The only person who knows Fiona's true identity is Sarah, who Amy was close to at university.

There are some very creepy and shady goings on and I didn't trust anybody! The characters were well developed and the plot was well thought out with some clever twists. The book is narrated by the dual POVs of Fiona and Amy across two timelines.

3.5 ⭐️ Thanks to Netgalley, Ann Girdharry and Inkubator for an ARC in return for an honest review.

Creepy in all the right ways! I loved the slow build and the sense of unease throughout. The characters were super well-developed, and I liked how the story unfolded piece by piece.

What an exciting read!! It's been a while since I read a good mystery/thriller, so this book was just what I needed. It was suspenseful and full of surprises. I stayed up late to finish because I could not put it down. I was hooked 5 chapters in. At first, I was alarmed that there were 72 chapters but the chapters are short and not overwhelming at all. I thought I figured out what happened with Amy early on, but my suspicions were way off. I truly was not expecting that outcome. Overall, this book was great and kept my attention throughout.

This was quite a ride. It’s dual POV, dual timeline. Because of the story that works great. I enjoyed the characters and I think Keith may be my favorite. I called a couple of the twists, but I still had fun reading it.

Thanks to NetGalley for the copy of this ARC. This will be out in May of 2025.

I enjoyed this book! I’ve never read anything by this author but I’ll be looking for more. I was guessing the whole time what the ending would be.

‘I Know You Saw Her’ was unfortunately a miss for me. The characters were one dimensional, with each person coming across as flat and interchangeable. The book read like a script rather than a story and there was so many choices and events that were unbelievable but put in to progress the story.

Should I have DNF this, probably but the term ‘can’t look away from a trainwrek’ exists for a reason and was fitting in this case as I couldn’t imagine how this story would end up.

I appreciate how hard it can be to write and I always think twice before putting a really negative review out there but the short chapters making it a fast read were the only redeeming qualities in my opinion 😬

I Know You Saw Her, kept me wanting more each time I turned the page. I read 80% of the book in the first sitting, I just couldn't put it down. Everyone in this book was a suspect in my eyes, if there would've been a dog or cat in this book they too would also be suspects. The twists at the end caught me off guard, I definitely didn't think that's what would go down. I recommend this book to anyone that enjoys reading mysteries/suspense. Great book to get you out of a reading slump.

3.75 stars.

The beginning of the story was a little slow to pick up. Instant love attraction seemed a little out of place at first and could have been developed more. This book could have worked with alternate point of views being throughout the story instead of halfway through the book.

The twists at the end really picked up and made me really overall enjoy the story despite the slow start.

Someone knows what happened to Amy. Five years ago, Fiona’s sister Amy vanished without a trace. Determined to find out what happened to her beloved sibling, Fiona assumes a new identity and rents a room in the boarding house where Amy once lived. It’s an eerie place. The landlady speaks to people who aren’t there while her son Keith silently observes Fiona from the shadows. Little by little, Fiona pieces together the truth about the life her sister was living and the web of secrets and lies in which Amy became entangled. Then Fiona realises she is putting herself in grave danger, because someone close has a secret they’ll do anything to protect! Wow great read! This book had great suspense, murder, mystery, intrigue, and a few crazy twists! The story was very interesting! I definitely recommend reading this one! Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me!
