This was an entertaining, well-written book. It was sweet, warmhearted and fun. I enjoyed this book and will look for more books by this author.

I absolutely loved Sam and Caleb's story! They were adorable together, and the funny banter between them was so entertaining. Two of my favorite scenes were when Sam and Caleb's mom were shopping and their car ride to the farm-bonding weekend. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Samantha works with Caleb, but they can't stand each other. They have to attend wedding of their friend and pretend to like each other. Caleb wants a second chance with his lost love Lily. As they navigate wedding season, they found out much more about each other and both Caleb and Sam has to make right decisions, right along with helping their friends with wedding drama.
Enjoyed this story a lot, wonderful book.

Miranda Liasson wrote another amazing story that just blew me away. I love how she always draws me in from the beginning until the end. I didn't want to stop reading because I wanted to get to the good stuff. This is the perfect enemies to lovers book!
Samantha and Caleb work together at the hospital and don't get along. Not only do they work together they also live across from each other in the same building. Just when you think they can't spend more time together they have a wedding to attend together. Now they have to spend more time with friends and family.
These two have such great banter and I just loved it!! Caleb is still in love with his ex Lilly so he expects to rekindle his love for her at this wedding with some help from Sam. But then he starts seeing a different side of Lilly that he's not really into and starts seeing a new side to Sam. Things get really interesting while they are away and you will have such a good time getting to know all these characters.
I had so many LOL moment, I was swooning, smiling and left with a wonderful ending! I highly recommend this book!
Thank you NetGalley, ARC provided by Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op | Hawthorne House Books and Miranda Liasson for allowing me to read this ARC for my honest opinion.

I found Sam and Caleb to be such fun, refreshing characters in this book. Sam was very stubborn and independent and she did not believe in love, even though her Oma had been a matchmaker. It was fun to watch her and Caleb clash at the hospital where they were both working.
Caleb was still in love with his college girlfriend, Lilly and wanted to seize a chance to get back together at an upcoming wedding that he , Sam, and Lilly were all going to be in. I really enjoyed watching Sam and Caleb go from enemies to frenemies to more. I also enjoyed how they both worked at a children's hospital and really cared for the children there. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

Samantha Bashar and Caleb D’Angelo are medical colleagues who do not get along despite him being her best friend’s brother. Caleb blames Samantha for ruining his chances with his high school sweetheart, Lilly (the one who got away). All three will be in an upcoming wedding party and Caleb enlists Samantha to undo her wrong and help him reunite with Lilly. As the two frenemies work toward this goal in increasingly close proximity, they discover that their feelings for each other may not be as adversarial as they originally thought. Heartwarming moments, humor, and lots of tugged heart strings make this another delightful read from Miranda Liasson.

Beautifully written by Ms. Liasson. So much heart. This is the second book in the Doctors of Oak Bluff. Dr. Samantha is so sweet, but made a mistake which she shouldn’t have done.
Dr. Caleb D’Angelo is a great doctor. He becomes close to to another doctor. Was it wise to do so? They’re both are in his sisters wedding. That’s right. They will see each other a lot.
They work together. What’s going to happen. I only suggest you buy the book.

Take Me to the Wedding, The Amazing Doctors of Oak Bluff book two, by Miranda Liasson is part romantic comedy and part enemies to more. All together it is a fun entertaining read. The main characters, Dr. Samantha Bashar and Dr. Caleb D’Angelo are not the sort of characters you would take for enemies. In fact, you would be friends with both of the good doctors.
The story is full of family and friends, heart and humor, and attraction that can’t be denied no matter how much they try. Truly the matchmaker has met her match. I can recommend Take Me to the Wedding.
4 Stars
An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Take Me To the Wedding is the second book in the Amazing Doctors of Oak Bluff series by Miranda Liasson. Not having read the first book, I was immediately drawn into the book’s premise and felt like I was among friends.
Caleb and Samantha are the lead romantic couple, telling the story in alternating chapters. This contemporary romance had an enemies-to-lovers story arc, with many layers, conflicts, work issues, family, and friends.
The couple’s friends’ and coworkers’ wedding was the backdrop for much of the story and provided additional storylines. The different threads were woven together nicely and had a good flow. Most of the characters were likable, and we gradually got to know the main characters. There were vivid descriptions of the various locations, especially the outdoor scenes.
At times, the communication between some characters was lacking, and Sam needed to open herself up to love and believe she was worthy of it. She and Caleb gave each other balance, and their relationship grew as they got to know each other better. I like the way he listened and knew what she needed before she did. There is closure, and I look forward to meeting up with these characters again in the next book in the series.
Take Me To the Wedding is a sweet contemporary romance with compassion and understanding that leads to love after Sam and Caleb discard their hateful feelings toward each other.
I rated the book 4.5 stars but rounded to 5 stars here and on other sites.

This sweet romance starts out with 2 professionals that quickly turns personal.
Samantha is a matchmaker. She comes from a long line in the family matchmakers. So when it gets personal what she finds out she has ruined Caleb’s chance with first true love, which she has to help him win her back. But along the way, they seem to discover each other. So they start a budding romance, they just don’t realize it. When Caleb starts wondering maybe it’s not an old relationship he’s looking for maybe it’s the one right in front of him. Samantha doesn’t think love is in the cards for her.
You have to read this beautifully written Romance to find out if they can make this work.
You will truly love this very well written Romance by Miranda!

A cute and heartwarming story. I liked the characters, the banter and the flying sparks. I enjoyed their love-hate relationship and enjoyed watching it bloom to more. It’s a fun and entertaining read.

Beautifully written, this story was a joy to read. I adore this series and hope that there are more to come!

I'm not always a fan of enemies to lovers stories, but this one really worked. The tension between Caleb and Sam has stopped them from learning much about each other. Once they stop fighting, it doesn't take them long to find what they knew when they first met. I loved how their relationship played out in the story. The rest of the characters were fun and helped us uncover more about Sam and Caleb. The writing moved and a good pace and the story kept me engaged from beginning to end. I hope there will be more stories about some of the characters in the book. I received an advance copy from NetGalley and I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Dr. Samantha Bashar and Dr. Caleb D'Angelo are like fire and ice. It is almost like they just try to get under each other's skin, although neither would admit it. They have to work together, which means they need to get along, but sometimes things are easier said than done.
When they are forced to spend time together for a wedding, I knew we were in for a fun time. The witty, whip sharp banter between these two was interesting to say the least. Samantha was fiery and opinionated, but she was also a protector. Caleb believes that Samantha has ruined his chances with his first love. Both are exceptional doctors, and they truly care about others. There is nothing more romantic than a wedding, even when you are quite obviously fighting feelings. This is a lesson in the fact that sometimes we make assumptions about others, and those assumptions are completely incorrect.
This is another wonderful installment in the Amazing Doctors of Oak Bluff series. Romance and a little laughter along the way make this a perfect weekend read.
Thank you to Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op and Hawthorne books for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Another fun story by Miranda Liasson. When they say opposites attract this book fits the bill. It chronicles a group of friends as they prepare for a wedding of one of their own. One of the bridesmaids finds herself in a bit of a pickle: she's got feelings for her best friend's brother. He's an orthopedic surgeon and she's an anesthesiologist. They clash at work but somehow the tide has turned and now they're getting friendlier. Throw in a former girlfriend, a troubled and independent younger sister, and a wedding on shaky ground and you have a delightful and enchanting book you're going to want to read!
Although I received a free ARC ebook from Net Galley and the publisher, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Caleb and Samantha are colleagues. She is an anesthesiologist and he's an orthopedic surgeon. They can't stand each other. He's got a reputation as a womanizer, a guy who can't commit. And she's afraid of any relationship other than the ones with her sister and her girlfriends. Actually he's still pining for the one that got away.
But Caleb and Sam have mutual friends, including her best friend, who happens to be his sister. A bunch of them have been asked to go away for a weekend to be with friends who are about to get married. And things turn interesting.
The romancing is detail-free. But the story is great. Enjoyable and a bit complex. So much fun to read.

Take Me To The Wedding
The Amazing Doctors of Oak Bluff Series - Book 2
By Miranda Liasson
May 2025
Contemporary Romance
Caleb D'Angelo had let his one love get away. He and Lilly had been young when they had moved in together while he was in med school. Their relationship hadn't survived, and Lilly had left. Now, he was older, a doctor, still in love with Lilly, and he was being presented with the perfect opportunity to reconnect with her. He would not make the same mistakes again. And he would not allow his nemesis, Samantha Bashar, to mess things up.
Samantha would not allow Caleb to interfere with her treating her patients. When he tried, she called him out. Yes, he had a right to be upset with her for inadvertently spreading a lie about him, but she was a professional. She was sorry for her part in the lie, and she wanted to make amends. Since they were all in the wedding party and going to be spending time together a few days on a farm, she would help Caleb in his quest to win back Lilly.
Only as Samantha and Caleb spend time together not as adversaries, they each start to see that perhaps Lilly is only part of Caleb's past, not his future.
Take Me To The Wedding is an enemy to lovers romance. There is quite a cast of characters at the farm, and it is pretty much a mess the whole trip. It was a case if something could go wrong, it would. In Caleb’s pursuit of Lilly. In people staying healthy. Thankfully, Caleb quickly learns that he and Lilly are no longer compatible, but it will take all his skills to woo Samantha.

I really enjoyed this sweet / closed door romance. Samantha and Caleb work together at a hospital and basically can't stand each other (or so they think!) and are forced into even closer proximity when a mutual friend is getting married and both are involved in the wedding. A pre-wedding weekend getaway provides time for them to see each other in a new light, a light bit of danger followed by caretaking. I enjoyed the supporting characters. Sam has been a stand-in parent for her younger sister, and has worked hard to provide for her and shield her sister from financial concerns along with acting resistant to being cared for herself. One of my favorite romance scenarios is when the love interest notices she needs someone to lighten the load and steps up.

I was hooked from the beginning with this second book in The Amazing Doctors of Oak Bluff series! It's an enemy-to-lovers, best friend's brother, small town romance book.
Caleb and Samantha both work in the medical profession and intensely dislike each other. It all makes sense when further into the book it explains why Samantha dislikes Caleb so much. While sharing a ride to a wedding, they start to really get to know and warm up to each other. Samantha is trying to right a wrong and Caleb starts seeing another side to her.
There is a touch of humor throw in and a daring rescue that adds to the romance. All of the characters in the book seem to genuinely care about each which makes for a fast cozy read. I can't wait to read the next book in this series.
Thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for an ARC of this book.

Take Me to the Wedding is the second book in the Amazing Doctors of Oak Bluff Series. This book has romance , family, friendships and all the things that come along with these relationships.
Sam is not looking forward to dealing with her best friend’s brother Caleb at their friend’s wedding. She doesn’t really get along with him at work so the idea of spending a weekend with him is not something she finds appealing.
This is another great book by Miranda Liasson . Thank you NetGalley and publisher for a copy for my opinion.
