Nixie is a mischievous fairy whose wand frequently goes wonky and causes chaos. Now, it's time for the Fairy Queen to come for the big Blossom Ball, and everything Nixie touches goes awry! As if things couldn't get worse, now her broken wand is MISSING. Will she be able to find it before the Fairy Queen arrives, or will she ruin the festivities?

The book is fun and silly, with black and white illustrations that depict the most ridiculous of the scenes. Sometimes Nixie crosses the line from being mischievous and a prankster to being a little mean-spirited, so I feel like that might be problematic and need to be discussed with parents and children so they understand Nixie's behavior is not acceptable.
