This was such good fun. I loved all the secrets and petty dramas, and uncovering what all the characters were hiding was really enjoyable. The book was well paced and I liked the whodunit element.
All of the characters were pretty horrible, but felt worryingly realistic and were exciting to read about. I felt like book was just missing a 'wow' factor to get a full 5 stars, but it was very entertaining.

This was a super fun read! It's a murser mystery and yet manages to stay lighthearted and thoroughly enjoyable.

A fun read which is unusual to say for a murder mystery but this was so light hearted and you don’t feel sorry for the victim at all! A perfect read for when you don’t want anything too heavy.

OPEN HOUSE anyone? ❤🔥
Thank you NetGalley and Headlinebooks for this arc in exchange for an honest review 🔍
I went into this book thinking it would be a Phil Dunphy x Gil Thorpe fighting-for-listings kinda book. But the whodunnit element had me scrambling! Modern Family x Nancy Drew vibes!!
Olivia, Hannah, Bella, and Claire all work at Harrington Estates for Amanda. They’re all trying to be perfect at their jobs and perfect in their personal lives. Sadly for Bella, it’s a cutthroat business and she doesn’t make it out alive. She is found at the dreamy £10 mil mansion which is listed by a dreamy Tom! In the quest for answers, you see everyone walk over each other, trying really hard to ensure their secrets remain so. Seemingly, everyone has a motive for wanting her dead. Question is: who took the first step ensuring everyone’s dream of a Bella-free world comes true?
There’s a satirical element of feminism and its juxtaposition with female friendship which I thought was very clever. Without going into spoilers, I’d admit Kate Weston did a very fine job weaving that and personal insecurities.
The characters are socially likeable - but are they really? There’s a lot many layers to them, and all wrapped in a neat bag of dark humour and ‘For Sale’ signs. I had a wonderful time reading it, and had so many theories in my head throughout. So so fun! ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Hope there’s more to come!
My review is also on my Instagram page 'KatsInLondon' which I am so elated to say is in collaboration with Kate Weston: https://www.instagram.com/p/DJgw-N3tdzV/?igsh=MWk0aGpranRubTB0cw==

I was initially drawn to this book as I saw it described as perfect for fans of Selling Sunset. It’s based around a group of toxic women who work at an estate agents called Harrington Estates. Like the show, there’s plenty of office politics, especially with the new girl Bella who’ll do anything to get to the top.
However, things take a turn during an open house for a new client where Bella is found dead.
This was such a fun read and one I’d recommend to anyone who loves a bit of dark humour mixed with murder. I laughed out loud throughout and won’t be able to listen to Big Girls Don’t Cry by Fergie again without thinking of Hannah, one of the main characters.
The characters are so unlikeable, hilarious and at times, scarily realistic. Such a brilliant book and one I’ll be recommending. Thank you so much to @netgalley and @headlinebooks for this ARC.

I love a whodunnit where everyone is screwing over everyone else so this book was my cup of tea from the start. Who knew the world of estate agents was so dangerous? Every single character in this book is so unlikeable, and I loved it. I spent the whole time reading it trying to work out what had happened and I probably had about 20 different theories throughout…the reveal hit me like a sculpture to the head. I loved it.
