Thank you to netgalley, the published and the author for the advance copy to read.

I am a huge fan of Wendy Dranfield already and this book did not disappoint, at all. I was hooked from the first chapter. I started it last night at midnight, thinking I would read a couple of chapters... two hours later and I was over half way through. I devoured the rest this morning.

If you like a twisty suspense novel, then this is for you. I always find that Wendy manages to write such fresh a unique books. The POV that this is told from is really interesting and nothing like anything else I have read. The plot and pacing will keep you enthralled and be turning the pages late into the night.

This will be a massive hit this summer, I only wish I could read it for the first time again.

Dark, intense and mysterious. Looking forward to more from this author. What I love from a thriller.

I read many very positive reviews of this book.. However, after reading about half of the novel, I gave up. I found it shallow and simplistic. I gave the book a chance. Sorry for those who loved it, it was not for me.

5 stars are not near enough for this book! If you like to read something out of the ordinary, you will not be disappointed with this one! I would never have seen the twists coming and man, are they big enough to have me read it in two days!!! Fantastic!!! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to be surprised by a book where nothing is what it seems!

Wendy Dranfield delivers a jaw-dropping, pulse-pounding thriller in Please Don’t Find Me—a novel so gripping that five stars hardly feel like enough. From the first chilling sentence to the last shocking twist, this book had me completely hooked. I don’t think my jaw ever left the floor.

The story kicks off with a haunting discovery: a woman finds her husband dead and immediately knows she and her daughter are in danger. What follows is a desperate attempt to vanish without a trace—faking an abduction, leaving behind subtle clues, and running for their lives. Every moment crackles with tension, every chapter ratchets up the suspense, and just when you think you’ve figured something out, Dranfield throws in a twist that turns everything on its head.

The plot is masterfully constructed and absolutely relentless. It’s one of those rare thrillers where you're genuinely afraid to blink, because you might miss something crucial. The characters are incredibly well-drawn, especially the protagonist—a mother whose love and fear push her to extraordinary limits. I found myself completely invested in her journey, heart pounding right along with hers.

In short, this book is insane—in the best possible way. It's dark, shocking, emotionally raw, and totally unforgettable. If you love psychological thrillers that leave you breathless and constantly second-guessing what’s real, Please Don’t Find Me is a must-read.

This is really intriguing tale of secrets and lies. It did take some time to get into and get to grips with the characters. I did enjoy it on the whole though found it slightly unbelievable in places.

Let me first say that I really like Wendy Dranfield and the Madison Harper series. I liked the Dean Matheson books as well. So I was really excited to see a stand alone book.
The description of the book sounded right up my alley.
Didn't finish it.
Like another reviewer, maybe its the timing, but it doesn't grab me. as for Scott, don't really like him either, seems he is just as screwed up as Julia.
Maybe I will give it a try later, but for now, no

After some time away, Julia comes home to her daughter sitting in the room with her deceased husband. The questions continue when Julia & her daughter disappear. Enter Scott — Julia’s ex boyfriend, determined to figure out where Julia is & to expose the truth.

I enjoyed the alternating chapters with different POVs. The characters were well developed, including the secondary characters.

Although described as a jaw-dropping & addictive thriller, I did not feel that this book was high stakes. I enjoyed the read, but as there was no true climax, I found myself absentmindedly flipping through pages.

Thank you to NetGalley & Bookouture for the eARC.

This book is quite disturbing - which is not to be taken in a bad way at all. Because it includes the point of view of a killer, and also that of a depressed person (two, if you count a few diary pages that appear as flashback chapters), I often felt I shouldn't even enjoy reading it, but I did. Like all the other books by Wendy Dranfield that I've read and loved, it's told in such a way that I just had to find out what would happen next. So let's call this one disturbingly good.

I think this book was very well written and engaging. This is about a woman named Julia who runs away from home with her daughter after she finds her husband dead. However, she makes it seem like they were taken, so her ex-boyfriend starts investigating her disappearance.

I liked the multiple POV chapters between Scott, the ex, who is investigating, and Julia.

I was not really prepared to have the POV of Scott because, based on the blur,b there was no mention of him. I definitely thought we would just be following Julia on her journey.

It was sometimes slow to read, the pacing was not always high stakes, but it was still a good thriller. There were good twists, and everything was definitely not as it seemed based on the summary, which is always good for a thriller. Overall, I did enjoy this book.

This book was very heavy! I was not expecting that at all. This book was so much more than I could have imagined. I do recommend checking trigger warnings, some people may be sensitive to certain things. I thought the book was great, it was also crazy.

3.5 rounded up to a 4

This book definitely will have you hooked from the beginning simply from how it starts, has an interesting story line, However I do wish the plot twist was slightly more interesting. I will say anytime I went to put the book down little details will be exposed and made me want to keep reading to see what happened next. Overall if you’re looking for a quick read and are in the mood for a thriller and like a crime shows I definitely say pick this up.

Thank you to Netgalley for a Digital Arc of Please Don’t find me in exchange for honest review
