This book was a wonderful little fantasy escape and my exact genre of fantasy I love! I thought the art was adorable too!

I really loved the setting, the world was gorgeous and it felt very established! I thought that the struggles between the people and the monarchy was very good and classic for this type of fantasy!

The characters also felt very established and like I already knew them! My favorite was Trill, I loved her herd of goats and her dreams of being a knight were very relatable!

The art was lovely! The character designs were very strong, and the colors were gorgeous! I especially loved the nature elements (which if you've ever read one of my graphic novel reviews, this will come as no surprise).

I loved Trill and Alya's friendship, although I do feel like their romantic relationship was a bit rushed and didn't make much sense to me for the plot. I think I would have liked to see a bit more building to that throughout the story aside from the few panels of them blushing and almost holding hands.

Overall, I think this was an adorable little adventure, and I always love queer rep!
