We meet Count Dracula after he has completed a six month world tour. He was spreading the the word about his amazing blood orange jelly donuts. These donuts can satisfy vampires and humans alike and this has brought peace to Transylvania. However, not everyone is happy that vampires and humans are now friends. The dastardly Constantine wants to return to the days where vampires and humans were at war. So while Dracula was away he starts driving a wedge between the humans and vampires once more. Now that Dracula is back, can he fix the damage? Only one way to find out.

This equally goofy and spooky graphic novel hits all the right notes. The storyline is borderline absurd, the stakes are somehow life and death while also being absolutely silly and the message at the end of the day is quite wholesome. Dracula's Brunch Club reminded me a bit of Scooby Doo meets Ghosts by Raina Telgemeier. I would give this to any kid that likes humor forward mysteries with a dash of the spooky.

Dracula's Brunch Club is a very funny graphic novel! We follow the story of Dracula, but as a doughnut fan! The style is very much like the cartoon vibe of 2010-2015. if you like that style of line and color palette, this book is perfect for you !

This is a teen/youth graphic novel, but it talks about a lot of things with a touch of humor. It's a pleasant read that helps pass the time until Halloween. The main plot keeps us on the edge of our seats, because Yes ... who stole the blood oranges?

Thank you NetGalley for allowing us to preview this little graphic novel!

Reminiscent of both Looney Tunes and Gravity Falls, this graphic novel has strong animation roots. Featuring creepy-cute art, a zany plot, and an entertaining cast of characters Dracula’s Brunch Club is a fine addition to a children’s Halloween graphic novel collection—or a spooky kid’s year-round faves! And while I haven’t tested any of the recipes in the back of the book I confess I’m curious about the blood orange jelly.

I got this as an arc on Netgalley and it will come out in August. This was a light, hilarious and slightly spooky read. The jokes made me actually laugh out loud.

What happens when Dracula is threatened with expulsion from his own Brunch club? And do you know why vampires started drinking blood? It's all about the donuts!

This is a really fun, super cute read with great humour throughout and a superbly charming art style that will really catch your eye. The story also stands out as being unique to what you usually expect from vampire books which is an added bonus!

This is only my second read from Oni Press, but it has completely solidified my trust in their graphic novels. Both books I’ve read from them have been absolute hits, and I now find myself eager to pick up anything they publish, no second thoughts needed.

This one, in particular, was a delightful surprise—a perfect blend of humor, heart, and just the right touch of seriousness.

At its core, the story follows Count Dracula, who has become world-famous not for his vampiric exploits, but for his legendary blood orange jelly donuts. Loved by both vampires and humans, he runs a popular brunch club that serves as a symbol of unity. However, when another Dracula appears with the intent to sow division between the two communities and push him out of his own brunch club, Dracula must find a way to preserve the peace and the pastries. The book even tell the story of how vampires developed their taste for blood in the first place.

What I especially appreciated is that this story is enjoyable for both kids and adults. The bonus content at the end—complete with recipes, alternate cover designs, and behind-the-scenes insights into the panel work, was an added treat that made the experience feel even more special.

A comical take on the age old story of Dracula. Instead of feasting on the blood of the innocent, vampires in this world want one thing, and one thing only...jelly doughnuts. No one makes a better jelly donut than the Count, but all is thrown into turmoil when ther is a jelly shortage. It's a fun, lighthearted story that centers around missing jelly and friendship.

Thank you to Brian Gonsar, Keenan Gaybba, Oni Press, and Netgalley for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review (unpaid).

Such a cute & fun story - the perfect vampire book for kids! Explores the moral qualms of feeding on humans without being too explicit

Very cute!! I really loved the art style—it’s super charming and fit the vibe of the story perfectly. The characters were fun, the concept was adorable, and it had that cozy, quirky feel I was totally in the mood for.

The story was sweet and had a lot of heart, but I will say it dragged a little in the middle. Nothing major, just lost a bit of momentum before picking back up. Still, I had a great time with it overall. Definitely recommend if you’re in the mood for something wholesome and visually delightful!

Thank you to Oni Press and NetGalley for supplying me with an ARC for my honest review of this lovely middle grade graphic novel.

This was my first time reading a graphic novel and it did not disappoint. Dracula’s Brunch Club had me smiling from cover to cover. The color and illustrations were gorgeous and kept me interested in the story just as much as the writing. I also really enjoyed the author’s creativity, there was a lot of witty humor woven throughout the story and the romance reader in me smiled at Dracula’s little crush on Elena. This book is perfect for older elementary schoolers, I can’t wait to share this book with my 10 year old daughter.

I would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for an advance copy in exchange for an honest review. This was a cute read and I liked the art. We follow Dracula who has just come back to Transylvania after being gone for 6 months without the jelly he needs for his donuts who are loved by all. Where did it all go? Why are all the other vampires feeling weak while one seems to be bent on ruining Dracula and keeping him out of his own brunch club. It was a fun read.
