This was such a feel good graphic novel. In this one Dracula hosts a Brunch Club which gets overtaken by another vampire during his 6 month long trip. In order to reclaim his club he has to make his beloved blood orange jelly donuts, only there is one problem. His jelly reserve has gone missing and there is no blood oranges left for purchase anywhere in the village, even the whole country.
Adorable and cutely drawn characters, quick pace and decently interesting story. Even though I'm probably not the target audience for this, as I'm an adult, I've enjoyed the story.
Thank you NetGalley for providing me with eARC in exchange for my honest review.

this was so cute! the only graphic novel i’ve ever read apart from heartstopper and i really enjoyed it. i know it’s more aimed for children but i honestly still really enjoyed it. all the illustrations were perfect and it was funny and cute. i also loved that we had a little romance/crush situation going on. i would definitely recommend it!!

This was really cute. It felt like a mixture of Hotel Transylvania with Gravity Falls, but by way of Master Chef. I didn’t know the age range for it when I requested the ARC, but it’s definitely middle grade. I can see kids thinking it is HILARIOUS.
Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for my early ebook.

I received an ARC and wow this graphic novel was super cute and had perfect timing for the jokes scattered inside. The art style was adorable (I loved Orlok). I really hope to see more by the duo and loved the play on words with the "Blood" orange. I think this book is set up for success! As a 23 year old, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I think it will leave a much bigger impact on the proper age bracket. Thank you so much for sending me the digital ARC and I hope to be considered for any future creations.

This was such a fun quick read. I loved the art style and I absolutely adore the cover of this book. I would definitely recommend this to a middle grade audience and even anyone who just wants a cute Dracula story. It definitely made me want to eat some jelly donuts. I would have loved to see a bit more of a tiny romance between Dracula and Elena, but otherwise it was absolutely adorable. Obviously the mystery wasn't very sneaky, but I don't think it needed to be because of the target audience.

A fun comic reminiscent of 90s cartoons.
I throughly enjoyed it
For fans of Gravity Falls, Scooby Doo & Dexter Lab

Sadly had to dnf this book. It was easy to read and follow but this book and plot just wasn't for me. But I'm sure others will love it.

A very entertaining and imaginative comic on how vampires came to crave blood. I love the artwork and I think the plot has the right amount of mystery, humor, and stakes (pun intended) to keep a middle grade audience engaged. I really had a fun time with this story and read it in one sitting!

This book is hilarious and the protagonist is so loveable in spite of the fact that he is a vampire. He loves baking and dreams of becoming a great baker. The illustration is adorable. Children are going to love this.

After a culinary world tour, Count Dracula comes back to Transylvania to find out that someone else has taken his place as host of his legendary brunch club. Not only that, but humans have been banned from participating and he has no jelly or fruit to make his signature creation. Can he find a way to bridge the gaps between humans and vampires once again? Will his jelly donuts ever be the same?
Dracula must work with his closest friends to answer these questions in this simplistic yet humorous graphic novel. While personally I wanted more from the story, upper elementary and middle school students are sure to enjoy this story.
Thank you Oni PRess and NetGalley for the ARC!

"Dracula's Brunch Club" by Brian Gonsar and Keenan Gaybba is a wildly inventive and delightfully absurd romp through the supernatural culinary scene. Blending horror, humor, and hospitality, the book reimagines Dracula as a brunch-obsessed host navigating the politics of undead fine dining. The witty dialogue and eccentric cast of monsters make for a fun, fast-paced read that’s as much a satire of foodie culture as it is a vampire tale. It’s original, irreverent, and oddly heartwarming. I need a jelly donut now!
Many thanks to the publisher for the ARC—I thoroughly enjoyed this quirky and memorable literary feast!

Thank you to NetGalley and Oni Press for the e-ARC of Dracula's Brunch Club!
3.5 / 5 ⭐
Dracula's Brunch Club is a fun graphic novel that feels reminiscent of the campy fun of Hotel Transylvania. 3.5 ⭐, rounded up to 4 for the reminder that dictators who manipulate us and try to force divisions between people are the true monsters.

A fun and spooky graphic novel that I can totally see my middle school students loving! This story offers a fresh and unexpected take on Count Dracula. Instead of the usual conflict between vampires and humans, the two coexist peacefully—at least until the arrival of the sinister Count Constantine. Dracula, known here not just as a vampire but as a passionate jelly donut connoisseur, faces a crisis when his jelly supply runs out. Desperate to maintain his beloved treats, he turns to a more... traditional vampire ingredient to fill them. It's a quirky, darkly humorous twist on a classic character.

Charming and punny in middle school style (if you've read other comics targeting this age range you can imagine what to expect), as Dracula tries to keep a power hungry vampire from ruining all he's worked for, while also discovering the deliciousness of human blood.
Definitely a fun time for those who enjoy a sillier side to their vampires.

as a lover of brunch, graphic novels and vampires, this is right up my street! When Dracula’s precious jelly for his donuts gets nicked and some of the other vampires are turning against him, it’s up to him to sort it out! This made me smile and chuckle! Gorgeously illustrated too!

Thank you to NetGalley and Oni Press for the ARC!
I loved the art style here, very nostalgic Cartoon Network vibes. Story is very simple and easy to follow, perfect for kids/middle-grade reading level. Very fun to include recipes at the end of the book. Low stakes, clear target audience, quick, fun, and easy. Would recommend.
3/5

We meet Count Dracula after he has completed a six month world tour. He was spreading the the word about his amazing blood orange jelly donuts. These donuts can satisfy vampires and humans alike and this has brought peace to Transylvania. However, not everyone is happy that vampires and humans are now friends. The dastardly Constantine wants to return to the days where vampires and humans were at war. So while Dracula was away he starts driving a wedge between the humans and vampires once more. Now that Dracula is back, can he fix the damage? Only one way to find out.
This equally goofy and spooky graphic novel hits all the right notes. The storyline is borderline absurd, the stakes are somehow life and death while also being absolutely silly and the message at the end of the day is quite wholesome. Dracula's Brunch Club reminded me a bit of Scooby Doo meets Ghosts by Raina Telgemeier. I would give this to any kid that likes humor forward mysteries with a dash of the spooky.

a sweet cozy vampire story
count dracula loves to bake and is beloved by all for his blood orange jelly filled donuts and progressive ways
after returning from a short vacation, count dracula returns to find rival count constantine has taken over his baking club, removed humans from joining and brought in new mysterious members to vote dracula out all while all of a sudden jelly and blood oranges are not available anywhere for dracula to defend his title
with the help of human friend and love, elena, dracula must solve the mystery of the missing ingridents and save his club

Dracula's Brunch Club is a very funny graphic novel! We follow the story of Dracula, but as a doughnut fan! The style is very much like the cartoon vibe of 2010-2015. if you like that style of line and color palette, this book is perfect for you !
This is a teen/youth graphic novel, but it talks about a lot of things with a touch of humor. It's a pleasant read that helps pass the time until Halloween. The main plot keeps us on the edge of our seats, because Yes ... who stole the blood oranges?
Thank you NetGalley for allowing us to preview this little graphic novel!

Reminiscent of both Looney Tunes and Gravity Falls, this graphic novel has strong animation roots. Featuring creepy-cute art, a zany plot, and an entertaining cast of characters Dracula’s Brunch Club is a fine addition to a children’s Halloween graphic novel collection—or a spooky kid’s year-round faves! And while I haven’t tested any of the recipes in the back of the book I confess I’m curious about the blood orange jelly.
