ROOM 21 completely drew me in from the very first page. The book is written with 3 different characters’ POV, chapter by chapter. It really kept me guessing for a lot of it. Huntley did a great job showing the depravity of the hotel guests, without showing actual on the page gore. The reader knows what was happening, is disgusted by what was happening, but didn’t have to slog through reading detailed play by plays (which I appreciated!)

The crazy part is that I could actually believe that something this horrific could happen.

My only small let down was that I didn’t really love the ending. I think it kind of cheapens the point of the story, plus…now they’re turning all these innocent victims into killers too. But that was only a few pages…and that’s just a matter of personal taste. I guess some people may love the circular storyline…I just thought it was both too simplistic and expected as well as it took away a lot of what I appreciated initially about the main characters.

For that reason, I drop it from 5 to 4 ⭐️

Everyone wants to know their family, everyone is curious to find out where they get their DNA, but what happens when your biological family is a nightmare, evil, but for Kimberly, the truth is hidden behind the doors of “Room 21” a room filled with secrets, a room that holds a lot of memories and evil secrets, one that no one is meant to know about.

The book begins with Kimberly, a young woman who works as a housekeeper; what happens when a special guest named Jennifer Clifton walks into the hotel and offer Kimberly a one in a lifetime deal.

This is a mind - griping physiological novel, with plot twists and mind-blowing details and secrets that will make a reader beg for more, I always love a novel that makes me ask more questions and ‘Room 21’ is much more than I ever expected.

When Kimberly is offered a deal, to get everything she ever desired, work at a prestigious hotel, get a free room for herself, and health insurance, and other benefits, but on one condition, she cannot tell anyone she is working at the hotel, she has to sign a NDA and Kimberly decides to check the hotel information online and when she can’t find anything, she is more curious

When Kimberly decides to take this job, she has no idea she is about to embark on a journey she will never recover from.

In this book, no one can be trusted,

I would rate it 8/10 because I enjoyed it so much, and make sure you guys give it a read.

This book was so different from any thriller I've ever read. It really had me hooked from the beginning. I couldn't wait to see what was happening next. I also really liked the POVs in this book and how they all came together. I also did not even c0me close to guessing the big twists in this book which there were several. Very good book!

Room 21 is a spine tingling physcological thriller that gets the spider senses on alert. I loved the dogs especially the smart well behaved muffin. A housekeeper is asked to work at a hotel but she can't tell anyone. I had a million questions and I had no idea where the author was leading with it but I just had to find out. It kept me on my toes and alert for danger and in the end it wholly satisfied my curiosity.

This is my second time ARC reading for Jessica and let me tell you this one is a hell of a ride.
Jaw dropping, mysterious, edge of your seat and a perfect Psychological thriller suspense.
I really liked kimberley and I just adored Muffin.
I was hoping for an early night lastnight and thought I'd read a few chapters. Nope. That didn't work out for me. I ended up reading till the early hours and then finished the book off this morning.
Brilliant book and looking forward to my next Jessica Huntley book.

This really is a dark and twisty thriller. Kimberley is approached in the hotel she works for by a strange woman who offers her a job at her father's hotel. There are things to be signed before she starts the job there. She learns that all the guests there all have their dark little secrets that she must keep quiet about and room 21 is off limits. As things unfold before her eyes and with a bombshell from Jennifer things build up to a deadly climax. I would recommend if you like thriller books.

I have read several of Jessica's books, and this one definitely had a much darker theme than most. It was still really good! I will say that at first, I was a little unsure of how I would like it. But it ended up being really good! It had a lot of twists and turns that I wasn't expecting, and definitely kept me guessing. I think other readers (that are ok with dark themes) will enjoy it!

“Room 21” by Jessica Huntley is a dark, twisted psychological thriller that completely blew my mind. The author’s writing style kept me on edge the entire time—tense, sharp, and full of suspense. Just when I thought I had things figured out, another shocking twist hit. I also loved the inclusion of a service dog in the story—and was so relieved nothing bad happens to her! This one kept me hooked from start to finish.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVED IT!! It was sooo absolutely addictive!!… OMG! I was absolutely hooked throughout an absolute rollercoaster ride! I had no idea who to trust and what was going on until the explosive ending! MASSIVE WELL DONE!

I just could not put it down which ended up with me devouring it in one sitting! It was a fantastic explosive page-turner!!

I loved the characters of Kimberly and Muffin and one the themes explored in this book was epilepsy and the author did a great job in making it as real life as possible that in itself was an intriguing read!

A massive ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars!

Kimberley, a twenty-five-year-old with epilepsy and a seizure alert dog, gets a dream job as a senior housekeeper in a top hotel in the Scottish Highlands. However, she is given a warning not to open the door to Room 21. Despite her curiosity, she tries to abide by the rule. But as she navigates the unsettling guests and mysterious staff, she finds herself drawn to the forbidden room. What she discovers inside leads her into a nightmare she never could have imagined.

As soon as I laid eyes on Jessica's book, I knew I had to get my hands on it. Sure, I have a stack of ARCs waiting for me, but when your favorite author drops a new release, you know you're in for a wild ride!

The protagonist, Kimberley, is a laid-back and lovable character with a difficult past. I mean, come on, she even has a border collie named Muffin - my favorite breed! Kimberley's character development is slow and steady, with some potential triggers along the way, so proceed with caution.
The story unfolds through two timelines, one following Emily and the other following Kimberley. At first, you'll be scratching your head wondering why, but trust me, it all comes together beautifully. The setting is claustrophobic, isolated, and downright chilling. It adds an extra layer of suspense to the already gripping storyline, sending shivers down your spine.

With twists and turns galore, this book kept me on the edge of my seat. And let me tell you, the main twist? I never saw it coming, even if I tried. This read was so engrossing, I couldn't bear to put it down. And don't even get me started on that jaw-dropping ending!

If you're into unraveling family secrets, navigating a room full of killers in a secluded environment, and trying to guess the outcome, this book is must-read. This book is rich, clever, and extremely twisted! I can't wait for everyone to dive in and chat about how mind-blowingly good it is. Trust me, you're in for a treat! Enjoy!
