Thank you Net Galley for the ARC. I started out unsure if I would like this book, but I loved it!! It was cozy and sweet while also covering some tough topics. I would love to see more books like this!

I really liked Stoeve's first two books, but the last two have been just okay for me. It felt like there was way too much going on her between the OCD, the alcoholic dad, the budding romance, the queer alliance events, etc. and because of that a lot of those storylines didn't get the development they needed. I do think this was great OCD representation though, and wish it was marketed more as that than as a romance. I also do think Stoeve falls into the habit of wanting to make sure everyone gets representation so much (which is a good thing!) that every character is introduced with a list of all of their identities in a way that feels unnatural/straight out of bad fanfic. I think there are less awkward ways to make characters' identities clear.
