When Jazz is feeling stagnant in her marriage with husband Sean she is introduced to The Weekend Club. Sort of a dating app for married people. They both agree to it and begin dating others. Jazz starts to learn more about herself and what she wants for her life with each date.

Erotica, but make it existential.

Burnt out, feeling invisible, and desperate for more than dishes and disappointment, Jazz signs up for a casual weekend-only dating app... and ends up unearthing the woman she buried beneath motherhood, marriage, and monotony. What starts as flirtation becomes obsession. She wanted a little spice but she ✨ she got a whole inferno. 🔥

I didn't want to put this story down! Some wild plot turns that had me shouting at Jazz... but underneath it all is a real emotional core that had me feeling empathy for her, even when I didn’t agree with her choices. I loved that the book didn’t shy away from the consequences of her actions—or the catharsis of owning them.

If you like your erotica with actual character growth, emotional stakes, and a dash of absolute madness (in the best way), this one’s for you!

First of all thank you for approving my request!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The authors writing style had me hooked throughout this book.

I didn't want it to end, a book I really couldn't put down.

This story was intriguing because there wasn't much information. So with an open mind, I dove right in.

Without giving too much details away, this story follows Jazz and Sean and their adventures to spice up their love life. One particular weekend, Jazz reconnects with her first love. In a twist of events, she must decide to return to Sean or pursue her first love.

There is the perfect amount of steamy scenes along with a decent plot line. I would certainly read more from this author.

Thank you to Netgalley and Poppy Hall for the advance readers copy in exchange for my honest review.

It will be no surprise to anyone that I went in blind with this book, I mean how could I not with no blurb provided, but that just made me all the more intrigued. I am not going to spoil anything by talking to much because who wants to be that gurl, but this was a ride so buckle up and read it

The recommendation was to go in blind, so in blind I went…
Like with most novellas, especially erotic ones, I can expect for them to be a fast and easy read. Something spicy and just enough storyline/plot to make it interesting. With being only 150 pages I expected to get limited character growth as well as a not very in depth plot. All of that being said, I still don’t think I loved this novella as much as some others I have read. Jazz, the FMC was awful to her husband. Now I’m not one to shy away from a good taboo inspired novella with spice that will make you blush. However, I feel like the spice in this book was overshadowed by how awful of a human being Jazz was. She was selfish, unkind and just all around unlikable. At one point I was kinda hoping the one hookup would just leave her down in the basement and Sean could go find his happily ever after with someone else. As far as the actual writing went, it was good. It flowed well and I was not expecting the book to end the way it did regardless if I agreed with how it ended or not.

This story was ok. I feel like she definitely should have just been upfront with her husband.. from the jump and not drug drug out the outcome we all knew was coming.

This book was a nasty one lol I really went blind onto this because I didn’t actually know what it was about and babyyyyy let me say that the fun never ended it was good gripping till the last page because this husband wife duo was a mess and just out there looking for love in the wrong places and this book gave everything it was suppose to

Love the idea of this story but I felt the execution was slow. I didn't get on board with the main characters as they were a bit boring! It lacked the slight unbelievable side of stories that makes you wish you were in it. Too much chat about jobs and children!

"Trust us—the less you know going in, the wilder the ride!"
This book really intrigued me with the lack of information given and the encouragement to go in blind (which I admit, I often do with books)so I'm going to try and review this without too many spoilers.

I found this book to be quite surface level, which you kind of expect with a novella. It almost reads as a diary from the main character as she becomes addicted to her new experiences. I found the main characters to be quite selfish and not really very likeable. Maybe if it were a longer book, the characters would feel more developed and their actions better understood.
A quick spicy read.
