Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review Little Child Gone.
FBI Agent Nikki Hunt is back in this tenth book in the series, and we the readers are glad of it.
There are so many threads to this one, that it takes most of the book to knit them altogether (I know, mixed metaphor, but I don't care) and bring the story to a close.
A young boy has gone missing and it appears that another one is gone - and NIkki and her team are brought in by the local sheriff for their profiling and investigatory expertise.
At the same time, a friend of Nikki discovers a horrible secret in the walls of a home that he's just bought to rehab - two long-dead persons.
The investigations seem to be separate; after all, the bodies are probably decades old and the missing boys are current. But as Nikki and her team begin to sift through evidence, and interview all of those involved, there seem to be connections heretofore unseen.
As with all of the previous Nikki Hunt books, this one is intriguing from start to finish.
Recommended - can be read as a standalone, but the whole series is worth a read.

This book is a bit of wow read.
I loved the suspense and how the author really made me feel the chills.
It is a good story with a well developed plot and for me this was a one sit read.
It is pacy and thrilling and when i finally reached the end I was amazed. I did not guess the outcome. it is just so brilliant.

Another nail biting installment for Nikki and her team. They have a cold case and a current case of missing children that’s keeping them all busy. This one will keep you guessing the whole way though. Stacy Green is one of my automatic go-to authors! Never disappoints and I highly recommend this series!

From the moment I turned the first page of Little Child Gone, I was completely hooked. Special Agent Nikki Hunt is a character I connected with immediately—fierce, intelligent, and deeply human. The atmosphere was chilling: the storm, the abandoned farmhouse, the hidden room behind a wardrobe—Lisa Regan paints each scene so vividly that I felt like I was standing right there beside Nikki, holding my breath as the secrets of the past started to surface.
The story weaves two haunting mysteries into one unrelenting narrative: the cold case of a missing housekeeper and her children, and the urgent search for a boy who’s just disappeared. I found myself racing through the pages, desperate to uncover how these seemingly separate threads might be connected. Every twist and clue had me second-guessing what I thought I knew.
But what truly struck me was the emotional depth. Behind the chilling discoveries and pulse-pounding suspense are real human stories—loss, trauma, survival, and resilience. Nikki’s determination to find the truth, no matter how painful, is both inspiring and heartbreaking. The stakes felt incredibly real, and I found myself rooting not just for justice, but for healing too.
If you're a fan of crime thrillers with heart, Little Child Gone is an absolute must-read. It's tense, beautifully written, and left me thinking about the characters long after I closed the book. I can’t wait to see where Nikki’s journey takes her next.

Nikki is immersed in more than one case and it makes for a page-turner! I read this in one sitting. It's fast paced and full of surprises. We don't see much of the family this go around, this story is very focused on the mysteries. I was stunned at each revelation. This author never fails to deliver!

Little Child Gone, Nikki Hunt book 10, by Stacy Green
I love this series and this was a fantastic, fast paced read. We've got some old bones in this one and some fuzzy gray lines are crossed. Past and present collide thanks to one inquisitive kid. Everyone is not always who they seem in this one. Great book with lots of twists and turns. Loved it.

First I would like to thank Netgalley and Bookouture for this arc. This is the 10th book in the Nikki Hunt series by Stacy Green. I love this series and each book is better than the last. Nikki is called to an old farmhouse that bones of two people were found in a closed off closet. They are believed to be related to a missing persons report from ten years ago of a mother and her three children. While her and her team are trying to figure out this case, she gets a call about another missing teen. Soon she is beginning to think the two cases are related but how. I really enjoyed this book and could not put it down.

Who is killing all the teens? Then bodies are found in an old family apartment. Are they connected? Will the cops figure it out before another teen is killed? Takes a teen to actually figure the killer.

We are once again on a rollercoaster with Agent Nikki Hunt who works both a cold case and a missing teen/kidnapping case. Is there a link between the two and if so, which one? I really loved to hear more about the work behind the scenes and to dig up the secrets one after the others with Nikki. A great book all in all, 5 stars for sure!!

4.5 stars!!
I blinked and it was over! That is how quickly I sped through this book. Book 10 in the Nikki Hunt series and Stacy delivers another page tuner that will have you sucked in, waiting for all the pieces to come together.
Called out on her daughter's birthday after remains were found in a boarded-up room during a renovation, delivers Nikki a cold case that collides with a new missing person report, when they discover a date in the teenage boy's locker, matching the date a family vanished from the house remains were discovered.
Even though I had ideas early of the connections, I enjoyed watching how all the details were revealed, how the story played out.

A fast-paced, emotionally engaging thriller that kept me turning pages late into the night! I really enjoyed following Nikki Hunt as she pieced everything together—sharp, determined, and easy to root for. The pacing was spot on, with just the right balance of suspense and heart. A solid 4-star read and one I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quick, satisfying thriller with a smart lead.

at this point are we all not in love with Nikki Hunt. if not what is wrong with you. because you should be, we all should be because she is one kick ass lead of a series. i must admit when a new book of hers comes out i am both excited but also worried because will one day it be the last time we have a book of Nikki. shes part of my life now. shes someone i do care about. yes i care about a book character. im sorry blame authors who just create such fantastic people that reach far beyond the pages of their books. and Nikki and the stories she belongs in have always been there for me in ways i cannot explain. so these books are very special to me.
going in i new i would love this book and once again i was right.
Nikki is called to the renovation house of a friend. hes found something no one wants to find when they start remodeling. this isnt just a wonky wall!
but quickly Nikki's attention is told to be diverted because a missing teen is reported. but as she learns more from this boys disappearance and life Nikki starts to wonder if there is way more to this than anyone thought or anyone is willing to let be known. something dark is lingering amongst all this and it could be linked right back to what she has just found in her friends house. is this the boy that was left alive in a mystery of the past? but surely...no?
agent Nikki is on the job and its such a rapid and tense ride right until the end.
this book is a fab addition to the series. and learning more from Nikki and the other people involved is always a thrill. being there and reading how Nikki is always so brave and determined is such an excitement each time.
this book does touch on some dark themes that for some might feel too much so i would explore that before going in. Stacey as ever handles it perfectly but there are some things in thrillers that i know might touch a little too close to home and that is perfectly ok to protect that part of yourself.

Little Child Gone is the tenth book in the Nikki Hunt series. I love this series. Each book builds on the previews one. That is to say, it is not necessary to have read them all. but it is a well written series and so worth the time to read them all.
This one starts with a mother and her three children who are in hiding from a threat to their safety. Several years later a man buys a house to rehab and discovers something that make him believe there was a murder after finding two areas of concern.
Nikki hunt is called in to be a consultant when a teenage boy goes missing. The team wonders if he is the third one in the two missing boys or is this something else entirely.
The story starts out strong and builds in intensity until the case takes an unexpected turn. It does cover spousal abuse for those that need to be aware. But it is a fantastic story with great rewards at the end.
I hope this series keeps on going. I am not ready to see an end. With all the crime happening these days, the possibilities could be endless.

I have enjoyed this whole series as FBI agent Nikki Hunt is one of my favorite characters. She gets a call from a friend that he discovered two bodies in a hidden room when he was remodeling a house. My curiosity was peaked instantly and I wondered how this was all going to unfold.
This one was a wild ride from present case of a missing teen and a case from the past. Nikki is determined to find out the truth and discovers a web of lies. I loved all the many layers of this one like peeling back an onion one clue at a time with many twists along the way. This series just keeps getting better and I enjoyed the acknowledgment and how the idea for this book came to be.

Little Child Gone is the 10th book in the Nikki Hunt series by Stacy Green. This book can be enjoyed as a standalone mystery or as part of the series. I am obsessed with this series and this book did not disappoint!!!
I thought this book was fast paced and fascinating! I could not put it down! Missing teen boys and the discovery of remains in an old home lead to such an incredible book!
I loved the characters and enjoyed getting to know them. I love Nikki’s character. I love that she takes care if business and bucks the system. I thought the crime solving was amazing! There was so much going on, trying to solve a cold case and several active cases. AMAZING!!!
I can’t wait for the next book to come out! I need more!!! I highly recommend reading Little Child Gone!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Little Child Gone (Nikki Hunt #10) by Stacy Green
Publisher: Bookouture
Genre: Mystery & Thrillers
Expected Publication Date: May 29, 2025

This was my first Nikki Hunt book and I was sceptical seeing as though it was the 10th book, but Stacy Green does an excellent job of letting you know about the main cast in a way that won't be too repetitive for people who have read all the boks, but gives enough information so if you missed the rest, you aren't completely lost.
I will definitely be going back and reading the previous books though as this book was amazing. It was suspenseful and twisty and extremely well written.

Holy crap!!! This is my first book by this (amazing) author as well as my first Nikki Hunt book. I was hooked from page one until the very last.
Nikki Hunt is an FBI agent working missing children's cases, expecting to find a serial kidnapper. Meanwhile, a friend found remains in a house he just bought. Is the timing a coincidence? Or are all the cases connected?
Nikki and her team work through many twists and turns before reaching the emotional conclusion.
Please note this is book 10, and while I was able to follow it, it referenced several past cases that I now HAVE to go back and read from the beginning.
It was an honor to read this advanced copy and I will be devouring the earlier books, and any future ones!!!

I read this book so quickly I couldn't put it down. The pacing was great, the twists kept twisting and kept me guessing all the way through. It was full of atmosphere and suspense I loved it

Matt is renovating his house. As he and his partner are demoing the attached apartment they come upon a skeleton! Matt immediately calls his from FBI agent Nikki Hunt to investigate. This is clearly a cold case, Nikki's favorite kind but Nikki also has her hands full with two other missing teenage boys. Could these case possibly be related? Only Nikki can find out! Great book! Exciting ending! Lots of twists!

The tenth installment in the Nikki Hunt series starts off with a slow burn, but quickly builds momentum—and once it does, you won’t be able to put it down.
Stacy Green masterfully weaves together past and present mysteries, layered with unexpected twists that keep you guessing. As similarities emerge between old and new cases, the suspense intensifies: are these events truly connected?
This is a well-written, suspenseful thriller that showcases Green’s talent for crafting gripping psychological drama.
